"The Contemporary Care of Social Workers in the Czech Republic: Its manners, form and possibilities with a specific focus on the role of unific organizations

This bachelor thesis "The Contemporary Care of Social Workers in the Czech Republic: Its manners, form and possibilities with a specific focus on the role of unific organizations" is focused on the care of social workers as well as on the organizations that union social workers and their role in this field. The work provides comparison of employee care systems in fire brigades, rescue workers, and social workers with aim to the "first line staff". First of all, the thesis describes the care systems theory in terms of human resources management; subsequently it gives characterization of employee benefits in previously mentioned institutions. Practical part of the thesis is aimed to the problem of the involvement of social workers unions and other organizations in the area of the employee care. It investigates the way they deal with the care of social workers and also tries to uncover their future plans.

History of Nurses Association

v anglickém jazyce: The thesis deals with the history of nurses association in Czechoslovakia, namely, with the first association of graduate nurses existing in the country from its foundation until its termination during the WWII. The introduction focuses on the description of legal foundations and the explanation of the principle of freedom of association. The subsequent historical-theoretical section presents the issue of history of nursing and especially nursing education which significantly influenced all subsequent efforts in the area of nurses association and was closely linked with the activities of the association. A detailed description of the activities of the association and the then applicable rules regarding association in the light of known facts maps the activities of the first organized graduate nurses association using the method of document study. The thesis is based predominantly on primary and secondary sources and other available literary sources. The aim is to provide detailed information on the timeline of the existence of the association, to define the activities of its members and their credit in the foundation of professional association of nurses. The thesis is about professional liability insurance, focused primarily on legal professions. The first part describes general liability insurance, then the thesis is focused on characteristics and specific features of professional liability insurance. The thesis also analyzes legal requirements for insurance of selected professions and significance of professional associations in professional liability insurance. In conclusion, it examines availability of professional liability insurance products on the Czech insurance market.

Professional liability insurance in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with professional liability insurance in the Czech Republic. The first chapter focuses on a general description of the insurance and its construction, the basic classification of legal liability and explanation of the types of insurance. The following chapter closely examines the status of professional associations and analyzes the framework agreement concluded by the selected associations. Another part is focused on the professional liability insurance of insurance intermediaries and independent loss adjusters. The last chapter describes the progression and current situation of professional liability insurance, focuses on the current possibilities of arranging insurance and presents selected insurance products.

Coaching program "Academy of Coaching Excellence" from the perspective of its participants

The thesis deals with coaching and education of coaches as this form of developing and leading people is actually representing a new phenomenon. Coaching is not legislatively amended in Czech Republic what causes that anybody can call himself a coach. For this reason, three professional associations exist on Czech scene which associate professional coaches with required level of education acquired in specialized programs. One of those programs is "Academy of Coaching Excellence" which is the main topic of this thesis. Using qualitative research it was established that coach competencies of European Mentoring and Coaching Council were found in reflexions of participants of the program which should be followed by all coaches leaving the academy. In conclusion I also suggest recommendations that can further enhance not only the quality of program but also a quality of coaches.

Consumer protection during services provided by travel agencies

Consumer protection is one of the most pressing topics in modern consumer times. As such, it has its pitfalls and its ensuring is not easy. Especially in field of providing services when satisfaction of consumers is often very subjective. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse current situation of consumer protection in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part basic terms, development process, current situation and forthcoming changes are described. The practical part is focused on analyse of advancing consumer protection in practice and on research among travel agencies and their clients.
