In the final part, the solutions are designed to help improve the business.

Project Scheduling with Dynamic Reconfigurations and Maintenance

Thesis deals with the topic of computational scheduling of production with dynamic reconfigurations and maintenance. The problem is formally defined by a mathematical model named Resource Constrained Project Scheduling Problem which was extended by dynamic reconfiguration and maintenance. Number of different schedule generation algorithms were proposed based on this model. Also methods of solution optimization based on genetic algorithms were described. The typology of production orders of which different task types are created was described in the experimental part. The result of the experiments is clear recommendation of scheduling algorithm for given task type. For the conclusion, thesis deals with the case study of choice of suitable solution for specific production companies.
Study of Production Process Management Using IT Products

This thesis deals with study of production process of a company that mostly deals with custom-made products of mechanical engineering. One part of the thesis is an analysis that serves to reveal weakness. Criteria and requirments for new information system are stated on the basis of the weaknesses. The thesis describes the approach and the schedule of implementation of the information system. The conclusion describes the economical evaluation of the project and the assumed impact on the management of the company.
Design of production technology for a bearing pin

The bachelor's thesis deals with the production of a rotary component – a bearing pin. First, the component itself, its dimensions and material are solved, and then a suitable semi-finished product is selected. The research focuses on the production technologies used. In the next part, the production technology of the bearing pin is proposed. The technological process consists of selected production machines and tools, production process and production control of component, including gauges used.

The thesis deals with the description of individual processes, transformation of inputs into outputs and activities leading to make a product. The elaboration of theoretical research is followed by the methodology which describes particular steps of solution leading to accomplishing the defined objective. Based on analysis of basic managerial functions, improved arrangement of relations between manufacture and demands of users is proposed. This improvement is measured by economic criteria. Detected facts clarify existing situation of the company and contribute to streamline the production and increase the prosperity of its business.
