HABÁSKO Jakub: Production process optimization. The project elaborated in frame of the Master degree, study branch Metrology and Quality Assurance Testing. This Master´s thesis deals with optimization of process plan. In virtue of submission was created an analysis present condition using of statistical methods and it was created suitable statistical methods applicable in production organization. Then is here described the problem of brazing bells, because in this place is originating the most of uptightness. Then the thesis brings recommendation and findings, which can help with optimization this process.

Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification

Bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the information system division IT&S, company ABB Ltd. and the subsequent creation of the draft amendments to eliminate the current problems. The work is focused on a specific part of the information system of the company, on Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The main objective of the work will draft measures to optimize this production system. Partial objective will be to extend the information system.

The bachelor thesis deals with order process of contract in the company. Thesis is divided into several parts. I deal with theoretical knowledge of process management in the first part of work. Then follows introducing of company PENTA TRADING spol. s r.o., to whom the work was processed. In analysis of present state I detect company’s shortcomings. On the base of detected shortcomings I mainly focus on problematics of IS in the company.

Design of Car Initiator

The bachelor thesis is focused on proposal solution of automotive initiator construction and design. The proposal is being carried out with regard to the need to ensure the maximum functionality of the whole element. As for the choice of materials and used technology the costs and procedures commonly used today are not being taken into account. The main objective is to eliminate the shortcomings of current automotive initiators and the proposal of technological procedures in the production of a new component.

Process performance planning

This thesis deals with the operational planning of production at DT – Výhybkárna a strojírna, a.s., specifically evaluating impacts of the passage of an exceptional order on manufacturing process. Aim is to analyze the current state of process management, to evaluate the impact of additional interventions into the processes and to quantify the costs associated with this intervention in the planned production. All with the minimum cost and maximum efficiency at a given quality. The goal is achieved by simulating of inserting an exceptional order in the enterprise information system.

The Study of Systém and Process optimization of Service operation

This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.

Information System Design

The diploma thesis focuses on design of the information system for the department of medical transport service, which is part of the hospital. This thesis describes the theoretical knowledge necessary for analysis and custom design, is also concerned with the analysis of the current state of processes and information system. Last but not least, based on the analysis and the requirements lays down suggestions for improvement of the information system and design of optimal information system, that effectively supports the processes and enables its users to work more efficiently.

Proposal for Lean Manufacturing Using Kaizen Products to Ensure Quality

This diploma thesis is based upon a study of processes in a subdivision of fischer systems, a company in the automotive industry. These processes are studied with reference to lean manufacturing and Kaizen products. The first part of this thesis is a general introduction to the company. It is followed by a description of the subdivision in question, and a discussion of various theoretical approaches. An analysis of the current state of manufacturing and processes is also made. Finally, a proposal is made towards solving imperfections uncovered in the analysis stage, and getting the company closer to lean manufacturing.
