I2C Bus to RS232 Bus Convertor
Votava, Martin ; Marvan, Aleš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The main goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to create I2C bus to RS232 bus convertor. Using I2C bus the convertor drives 8bit I/O expander. In theoretical part buses I2C and RS232 are described along with PCF8574. There is also mentioned selection appropriate microcontroler and design of comunication protocol. Practical part is dedicated to creating control program for microcontroler, appropriate comunication protocol processing and convertor testing. There are also described some auxiliary products and program testing.
Peristaltic pump control via USB interface
Balogh, Jaroslav ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Čech, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to practical realization of connection between peristaltic pump Rainin Dynamax RP-1 and PC, using USB interface. Integrated circuit device FT232R has been used in USB-RS422 converter, due to modified RS422 interface, which the pump RP-1 uses. There was also developed software for pump’s remote controll. RP-1’s functions can be driven from remote side or eventually automatized with this software. This work is based on semestral thesis and in future can be used in another aplications with RS422 or with RP-1 pump. Department of Biomedical Engineering, attached to FEEC, Brno University of Technology, will use this remote controll in analysis of DNA.
Modbus TCP interface
Krotký, Pavel ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Main puropose of this thesis is to design and develop Ethernet to serial interface converter. Ethernet and serial line protocols are briefly described. Appropriate microprocessor and hardware for realisation of each physical layars were choosen. Convertor uses Texas Instrument's TI-RTOS operating system. Convertor's purpose is to pass on communication between physical layers and also fulfill webserver role with configuration possibilities.
Hybrid AC/DC,AC/AC substation operation analysis
Lakomý, Marek ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Dohnal, Petr (advisor)
The work analyzes the operation of hybrid substations. The first chapter provides an analysis of domestic traction systems and describes in detail specific station. The next chapter follows the first in a way in which obtained parameters are converted to parameters suitable for the simulation program and presents its results. The third chapter discusses the serial communication used in one switchgear and about voltage regulator that controls one high voltage field. The last chapter verifies the simulation results obtained from the second chapter with real measurement and direct comparison is also included.
Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
MTC and LTC Sync Code Converter
Miškařík, Vít ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
Converter of sync codes MTC to LTC is very important device to synchronize all devices which are being used for editing and other work with audio and video. Most of digital equipment can sync to MTC but LTC timecode is recorded od audio or videotape. Therefore this converter is needed to sync all connected devices to recorded timecode. This thesis is about designing and constructing the converter between these timecodes.
Design of measuring solutions for circuits with differential signals
Jemelík, Lukáš ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals about a measuring structures of elements working at a current mode. There were outlined structures for measuring input and output impedance. These structures were simulated for DACA element. It deals with a voltage to current and current to voltage converters. All structures and converters were simulated at computer program PSpice. Selected variant were practically verified and control measuring was realized.
Digitally controlled filter
Rez, Jan ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design of a functional prototype universal digitally controlled analog frequency filter 2th order. Part of the design is the selection of appropriate filter topology diagram and selection of an integrated circuit. Universal filter will contain lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch filter. The filter is tuned in cutoff frequency from 100 Hz to 15 kHz. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the circuit analysis of selected concrete structure of universal filter and possibilities of digital control filters. The practical part of this thesis includes PCB design, control software for filter and graphical representation of measured results.
New solutions of converters for measurement of current-mode filters
Štork, Petr ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes some new solutions of differential converters that convert voltage to current and vice versa. Such converters are necessary for measurement of frequency filters in a current mode due to absence of instruments able to mesure signals with current as signal carrier. The goal is to design such converters that should influence gauged frequency properties in a current mode as little as possible. Converters will consist of operative amplifiers with current feedback. Converters designed this way are tested using simulations from PSpice programme, where particularly wideness of band of individual solutions is tested. Simulated solutions that are the most suitable ones are practicably re-enacted and gauged. These resuls of measurement and simulations are compared.
HW and SW for Ethernet-to-IEEE802.15.4 bridge
Růžička, Tomáš ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
In this work we deal with the converter, to serve as a bridge between the two protocols. These protocols are Ethernet and wireless IEEE 802.15.4 protocol. Wireless part of this work, however, I simulated via serial RS 232nd After Ehternetu can send data via TCP or UPD protocol. First is the need for a converter to connect to the network and then create a packet. Finally, it is necessary to also address the views received and sent data via Ethernet and the RS-232.
