Běhůnek, Ondřej ; Hudeček, Vladimír (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project for the building permit and for the construction of the VW Car Centre in Mikulov. The documentation follows the study maked during the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020, within the AG033. The aim of the study was to develop an available, functional, and architectural solution. The bachelor's thesis elaborates this study in detail. The building site is in South Moravia, on the northwestern edge of Mikulov in the former collective farm. The building is connected to the local road by Jiráskova Street, two entrances, connected by an asphalt road around the building. Around road, there are parking areas for visitors and employees, as well as parking areas for serviced vehicles and vehicles intended for sale. The building is divided into several functional units, especially the sale of new cars, with administrative, sale of spare parts with a handy warehouse and authorized service, with facilities for employees and a spare parts warehouse. These units are reflected in structure, consisting of three blocks, different in height, adapted to the requirements for traffic height. In the first, one-floor block, there is a car shop, in the middle, two-floor block, storage and sale of spare parts on the ground floor, the administrative on the second floor. In the third block is the service. The parts are interconnected and thus form one continuous object. From an architectural point of view, the building is based on the surrounding industrial buildings and is flattened with a titanium-zinc overhanging perforated shell. The sun exposure of the building is ensured by curtain walls on the sides of the building, on the second floor by windows. Furthermore, the building is illuminated by skylights. In the interior of the sales and administrative part, there is a dominant steel console staircase, connecting these two units. The building is designed to the principles of barrier-free use.
Arvin Meritor Factory Brno
Sergeeva, Anna ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis discusses a solution of the new-build factory Arvin Meritor in Brno, where the neglected area of the former junkyard (registered as a brownfield number 1904) in Maloměřicí between Borky and Slaměníková streets is used. Determinating the area the transverse substance has been formed perpendicular to the surrounding embankments for minimum usage of the land and the maximum variability of the completion in the future. The basic shape of the building comes from the reciprocal displacement of the production lines and their connection to the glass corridors shaping the main production part. This principle gives an interesting altitude difference, also allowing the possibility of adding further units such as auxiliary factory operations and the input unit. These features are layered in a way to make the solution as flexible and universal as possible. The "input unit" is the dominant feature of the whole building, for that, a glass facade is used to create sufficient lighting for the administration. There is a construction with red facade lamellae mounted in front of the glass facade, which is used for highlighting and shading. Copilit and sandwich panels are used on the longitudinal facade of the production part, while strip windows are pulled through the entire length and create a contact of workers with the environment. Other parts of the building used tin sandwich grey shade panels, while the roof used sawtooth skylights turned to the northeast with 45 degrees angle corresponds to the building. Finally, a suggestion of backbone traffic is also discussed in this thesis in details.
Steel structures of boiler and engine rooms
Krompolc, František ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
A steel construction, divided into two parts, was designed for the building object of a production block of a bio power plant. The two parts separate the boiler room and the engine room. Due to the specific load caused by the operation equipment, also several plateaus, consoles, footbridges and technological constructions were designed. A system of principal pillars HEB, transversely frame-connected with plane solid girders IPE, forms the hall construction. Pillars in rows 1 and 4 are rigidly jointed to foundations. A bearing structure of the roof deck is imposed on the girders. It is composed of a system of purlins – rolled profiles type UPE. The rigidity of the roof is secured by horizontal bracing between the purlins. The construction of the boiler room is attached to the construction of the engine room, which is formed of frame-connected principal pillars HEB in rows 4,7 and 8. The roof truss IPE is designed for 12 900 mm span between rows 4 and 7 and for 4 800 mm between rows 7 and 8. The spatial rigidity of the structure is not only secured by the rigid connection of pillars and foundation combined with the frame-connected roof rungs. It is mainly maintained thanks to the system of vertical wall bracings interacting with the horizontal bracing of the roof. Between the pillar rows B, C, D, E, F and G and 8 to 9 a construction of a substation is attached. In the engine room is situated technological structure. The construction is formed by supporting frames consisting of pillars type HEA, rungs type IPE and HEA and vertical bracing of rolled profiles. Pillars type HEA are connected to foundation using articulated connection. The rigidity of the structure is secured both ways by vertical bracing and by the connection of the plateau beams with the hall girders.

A goal of this thesis is elaborating of a project documentation which is consisted of a building permit documentation in a scale 1:100 and a construction documentation in a scale 1:50. This thesis is based on architectural study elaborated within the course AG35. A subject matter of the Bachelor thesis is a design of a newbuilding of the showroom of a Car-centre Volkswagen Group in Brno - Zábrdovice on Cejl street. The part of the design is the architectural object itself and its surroundings. The original idea was to create a large view area for the people passing or driving by to have a good view of exposed cars. To this purpose a circular floor plan has provided the best viewings inside the building from several points of view. A form of the showroom is a cylinder which is partially covered by white fabric shades. The whole structural system of the showroom is formed by steel columns with a reinforced concrete wall. A roof construction is made up by steel trusses.
BUSINESS CENTRUM VÍCHOV
Hubený, Jakub ; Velehradská, Dagmar (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the design of an architectural-urban study of a large area (revitalization of brownfield land/sites) on the outskirts of the village of Víchov. The building program defined partly by the investor and then by the pre-diploma project includes a residential part, a part of agricultural land, a part of public spaces, housing for owners and an industrial part. The industrial part has been designed in more detail and includes the following areas: storage/production facilities, sale of farm products in showrooms, accommodation, catering, administration and technical facilities. The aim of the work was to find an architectural solution that would be the most suitable from various contradictory points of view - such as in terms of spatial layout, from an economic point of view, in terms of the integration of the building into the structure of the village and the topography of the landscape, or in terms of the energy (in)performance of the building. The design should also be representative of an appropriate response to global warming.
Industrial bakery Herold Brno
Veit, Jakub ; Suchánek,, Petr (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to create various stages of project dokumentation–The Dokumentation for building permission and The Dokumentation for construction and The Study of the subject AG35. Project involes a new building of The Industrial bakery Herold in the district Horni Herspice, on the land p. No. 1112 in the cadastral area of Brno. The bakery Herold has a headquarters in Slavkov u Brna and building of new object will ensure an expansion of the company's production, larger sales area and approach the area of the most extensive sales. This is a design of an industrial object, which is divided into 4 cubic mass. Main buildings consist of a production hall with stores and an expedition and the related administrative part. Two smaller objects are connected to the expedition part. There are hinterland, stores for a carrier box and a company store. The structural system of the administrative part consists of a modular system 6x6 m, 6x12 m or 6x24 m. The project also covers the surrounding area, especially the front space of the production hall, and a connection to the public infrastructure. The principle of the design is to place the object that way to ensure an economy of a construction, logic and a continuity of an internal road, to minimize an asphalt surface in the area and in front of the building and a suitable orientation to cardinal points. Because of near housing development there is the public space with trees in front the object. This space covers the building and makes visual and noise barrier. The entire area road is behind the object on the southern side. The building uses a mildly sloping land. The expedition part is 1,100 m above neighboring ground and it is good for loading baked goods into the car. The purpose of this project is to create compact and functional building with interconnected rooms with a dry shod. A continuity of the production process was one of the most important elements in designing this building.
Production buildings VW Autocenter
Král, David ; Žák, Libor (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to create various stages of the project documentation – The Documentation for building permission and The Documentation for construction and The Study of the subject AG35. The project involves a new VW Group Autocentre which will be used for sale, warranty and post-warranty repairs and servicing Škoda, Seat, Volkswagen and Audi. The building will be located in the city of Brno on the land between Cejl and Jan Svoboda’s street, which is headed by the Brno City Hall in the brownfields map under the number 3402. It is an area of 1.1 ha, which is intended for mixed areas by Spatial Plan. The solution should take into account the surrounding area and the neighbouring Svitava river. The building is located so it would complete the street from the urban point of view, so the base mass is connected to the existing building and the edges correspond to the street lines. It is taken into account the neighbourhood of the Svitava riverbank, where will be located suitable greenery. The area will make a good impression and, moreover, the embankment of the Svitava river will get a new and better look. The design of the whole object is based on two main parts. The first part is to attract as many customers as possible, thus placing the longitudinal mass copying the street line, where the cars will be displayed. This brings us to the second part, and that is the connection of matter and the addition of matter to the existing building, so that the streets act intact. From this base come out the longitudinal exhibition hall, which opens its advertising possibilities to the street, to which the mass of service is connected. The purpose of this project is to create compact and well-functioning building with operations which are interconnected. A continuity of the individual parts of the service and the showroom was one of the most important elements in designing this building.
