Comparison of gay marriage in the Czech republic with German speaking countires

This bachelor´s thesis deals with possible types of relationships between homosexual couples in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, the Swiss Confederation and Principality of Liechtenstein, and their comparison. It offers an introduction to the issue of same-sex relationships and concentrates on comparing of the situation in the mentioned countries. It works with valid legal regulations of particular countries, which adjust the relationships of homosexual couples. This thesis also tracks the development of legislation in the process of equalization of homosexual and heterosexual couples in the field of family law to April 2021. The main criterion for comparison of the situation in the mentioned countries is the possibility for same-sex couples to enter a marriage or an analogous kind of relationship with similar rights and obligations, which bears a resemblance to legal relationships between married couples. Except corresponding laws, this bachelor´s thesis concentrates on social context and political development, which reflects the social course of events.
Coming Out in the life on a homosexual

This bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of a coming out in the life of a homosexual. It contains definitions of homosexuality, related concepts and describes possible causes of homosexuality's origin. The thesis maps how was homosexuality perceived in the context of history and continues with the insight of how it is perceived in Czech Republic nowadays. It also contains the definition of coming out, its different types and presents specific problems of a coming out in different phases of life. Furthermore it deals with possible crisis situations that can arise based on a problematic outer coming out and maps the social work's tools that can help with tackling those situations.
Openness to same­sex marriage from the perspective of religious and non­religious high school students.

The diploma thesis deals with the attitudes of religious and non-religious high school students towards the possible marriage of same-sex couples. The theoretical part focuses on the process of emancipation of homosexuals up to the present, when the discussion of this issue is a current topic both in society and in the political sphere. The respondents' openness to homosexual marriage is viewed, among other things, through the lens of their religious beliefs. The research group consists of six male and female students of Prague grammar schools, of which three respondents are Christian and three are non-religious. In the form of a semi-structured interview, the study finds out to what extent the respondents are open to the legalization of gay marriage, whether they agree with using the term marriage also for same- sex couples, and what role their religious beliefs play in their opinion on the issue. The results of the study show that five out of six interviewed respondents see the lack of registered partnership as unequal rights compared to the institution of marriage. Homosexual identity during communism era

Bachelor thesis with the name Homosexual identity during communism era analyse stories of ten narrators thru their stories show what it was like to be a homosexual during communism era and what options did they have to develop their homosexual identity in heteronormative society. Qualitatively collected biographical interviews were further analysed, which led to the formulation of three chapters, each of which points to one level of life that was important for the formation of the above-mentioned identity. The setting of the communist regime, even after the decriminalization of homosexuality in 1961, was still not very favorable for sexual minorities. However, this meant only a small problem for the homosexual community, for which they always found their way and created their own conditions, yet with certain limits.
Homosexual couples as adoptive parents

This task deals with homosexuality and progression in attitude in society. Also maps the choices which homosexual people have in the Czech Republic. What opinions they have to meet each other and what kind of help they can use. Second chapter is focused on parenthood and choices which homosexuals can impose to become parents. The chapter is about children needs and their evolution. Third chapter is focused on adoption. Practical part consists from interviews with homosexual families. Families are ten together.
