Temperature Profile in Reflow Soldering and Influence of Different PCBś and ComponentsThermal Capacities
Procházka, Martin ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis mainly deals with the prediction of temperature on the components and the PCB during reflow soldering. The theoretical part describes the particular solder reflow process, types of heat transfer and temperature profiles. The practical part is divided into forecasting temperatures if the conveyor is stopped and the temperature predictions when the conveyor is in motion. In both parts of the measured temperature is compared with the predicted temperatures, which show the success rate of prediction. The last part of this work is part of the simulation, which helps in proper understanding of the issues discussed.
The Case
Svobodová, Hana ; Šrek Bromová, Veronika (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
I assume huddled topic that I put into my past work as well as in final work. Casting my body, which is covered with feathers and create a cocoon of him, husk without the interior. Sculpture has two sides, the principle of duality, femininity and counterpart. Outer packaging evokes pleasant birdlike body surface and in the inner part aggressively squeeze ends of the wicks feathers.
Streamlining production technology for specified pinion housing
Sádlo, Dominik ; Ohnišťová, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to propose a new technology for the production of the specified pinion case and to compare it with the existing technology. At the beginning of the thesis are described the basic characteristics of the bushings and the use of the worm housing part produced by Wikov MGI. In the next part, attention is paid to the current technology of production and its evaluation. The practical part includes the choice of the machine, the clamping mechanism and the tools necessary for making the part. The last chapter of the thesis compares three variants of the technological process, in terms of time-consuming operations and economical advantage for Wikov MGI.
Optimization of fabrication technology and defect detection for ceramics structures
Chyťa, Filip ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Skácel, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with the problems of defects in ceramics structures and packages, their detection and subsequent optimization of the manufacturing process in order to eliminate these defects. The first chapter summarizes ceramic materials in elec-trical engineering and deals specifically with Al2O3 and material GRANNALOX 9620 F and optimization of its production profile. The second chapter deals with preparation of the ceramic powder and its subsequent processing. The third chap-ter deals with detection of defects in the thus formed ceramic packages, testing their electrical, thermal and mechanical makings. In the next chapter I deal with my workflow, which I used in the production of packages, the way of production and testing of packages, including comparison of their makings.
QFN Packages Soldering and Technology Procedures
Jakub, Miroslav ; Brno, Petr Martinec, HONEYWELL (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with QFN packages soldering and technology procedures optimization. The aim of theoretical part is description of QFN packages, their assembly and reflow soldering on PCB in HONEYWELL. The aim of the practical part is to propose a method of measuring temperature and optimizing the thermal profiles of selected PCB with QFN packages by using convection (HONEYWELL) and infrared (BUT) reflow ovens. Comparison and evaluation of thermal profiles for 3 production PCBś with QFN packages using solder paste AIM NC257-2 were realised. The main part of master´s thesis are appearance evaluation of solder joints, preparing microsection and measuring intermetallic layers thickness by using the optical and the scanning electron microscopes, analysation and study of QFN defects created during soldering proces. These tests were performed with 2 production PCB´s. Optimization of SPI and soldering technology procedures where were analyzed QFN packages were processed on one type of PCB. Interesting part of this diplomma thesis is creating of the 3D heat transfer model of QFN package during the reflow soldering in SolidWorks.
Optimizing of QFN Package Assembly Process
Šváb, Martin ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
The Master thesis deals with technology of mounting QFN packages on to the printed circuits boards. Describes also influence of shape and size of soldering pads and the amount of soldering paste with respect to the quality and the reliability. In first part overview of existing packages is summarised. Second part describes design of testing board and the factors which leads to eliminating errors during manufacturing process.
Metal forming production of bush by cold extrusion.
Šimeček, Tomáš ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
ŠIMEČEK Tomáš: Metal forming production of bush by cold extrusion. The project elaborated in frame of bachelor study degree brings a proposal of step by step metal forming production of bush by cold extrusion. Workpiece is made of normalized circle-shaped bar using 12 050 steel. The step by step production is based on literary pursuit of volumetric forming and calculation and is designed into five steps containing cutting, pressing and extrusion. These operations will be done on multistage pressing automatic machine TPZK 25 manufactured by ŠMERAL Brno, plc. with nominal pressing force of 5MN. Semi-finished product is placed into tooling´s workspace with manipulator. Final part extraction is solved with ejector integrated in automatic machine. Tools are made of tool steel, extrusion punch is designed of 19 550.4 steel, extrusion die is designed of 19 436.4 steel and extrusion die´s band is designed of 19 733.4 steel. Tools are designed to be improved by hardening and drawing.
Bulk forming technology of cases
Covrighin, Sergiu ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
Bc. COVRIGHIN Sergiu. Bulk forming technology of cases. Diploma thesis in fifth class of master studies, academic year 2009/2010, study group 5M/68, FME UT in Brno, Institute of Manufacturing Technology, Department of Metal Forming, May 2010, pages 46 , 18 fig., 7 tab., 4 annexes. In diploma thesis is introduced a technological proposal regarding production of cases by bulk forming from cemented steel 14 220.3. Despite the estimated number of parts which is 70000 a year, quality and product accuracy, 2 options of technological procedures concerning cold bulk forming wth combination of backward and forward extrusion are being considered. For chosen option are elaborated technological calculations. As for the suggested technology, crank press, force 8000 kN and made by company KRUPP was chosen. Material for extruder is steel 19 569 and material for extrusion die is steel 19 655.
CAD design of the Walther PPS M2 laser sight housing
Macků, Veronika ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a housing for a laser-sight for a Walther PPS M2 pistol with the aid of reverse engineering methods. The first part is a research about laser-sights. The second part contains contemplation about the problem, mainly the restrictions brought on by the design of the Walther pistol and of the energy source of laser-sight Streamlight TLR-6, as well as the chosen production method of the housing, which is 3D printing. The main part describes the acquirement of input data via scanning the body of the Walther pistol and the housing of TLR-6, the making of the CAD design of the housing, the printing of a prototype with a 3D printer and the consequent correction of the CAD model on the basis of analysis of the prototype.
