Biomechanical aspect of speed canoe technic
Štryncl, Radim ; Šifta, Petr (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee) ; Cirkl, David (referee)
Name of the thesis: Biomechanical aspects of speed canoeing techniques in the context of asymmetric loading of the postural system Aim of the thesis: The main aim of the work was, based on theoretical knowledge and own empirical research, to analyze the biomechanical aspects of the technique of riding a C1 speed canoe in the context of asymmetric loading of the postural system . . Solution method: Based on the knowledge of functional anatomy and with the use of analyzes of the real riding of the top athletes (N = 12), the kinesiological aspects of riding the C1 speed canoe were investigated in the preliminary research. Biomechanical aspects of paddling were further investigated using 3D kinematic analysis (N = 9). Influence of long-term training efforts on differences in muscle cross-sections mm. iliopsoas a mm. quadratus lumborum on both sides of the body was examined by magnetic resonance imaging (N = 5). The muscle sections were performed in the transverse plane at the level of L 3, L 4. The studies were conceived as pilot due to their time, organizational and financial demands. Results: Riding a C1 speed canoe is a locomotively complex movement pattern during which the postural system is exposed to two types of asymmetric loads. Both are related to the geometry of motion. First of all, it is a...
Využití postarání terapie na zlepšení držení těla a stability v golfovém švihu u mladých golfistů
LUŇÁČKOVÁ, Johana
This thesis deals with posture and stability in young golfers and how these aspects can be influenced. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to create a kinesiotherapy unit that incorporates elements from postural therapy to influence posture and stability in young golfers as well as the elements influencing postural function, which was another aim of the thesis. Another aim was to evaluate the effects of the therapy and compare the results based on the entry and exit kinesiological examination. In the theoretical part, the postural system, postural function, movement control and the information about golf are described as well as the physiotherapy methods that were used in this thesis. The practical part describes the research methods and case studies of four probands from the Golf Club Týn nad Vltavou. The work includes comparative photographs taken before and after the therapy and examples of exercises used in the kinesiotherapy unit. Initial results of the study show the poor posture, lack of stability and weakened postural functions are present in these young golfers. When comparing the entry and exit examination data, all probands showed improvement in all studied aspects after completing the 8-week exercise program therefore these results could be influenced by the suggested therapy. In the future, this work could be used by coaches as an inspiration for creating the training plan.
Possibilities of influencing postural stability in sports training of judokas
VACOVÁ, Anna
This thesis deals with postural stability in the sports training of judokas and the possible ways by which it can be influenced. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to include a kinesiotherapy intervention using elements for improving postural stability in the sports training of judokas and to evaluate its effectiveness, while another aim was to measure postural stability of standing on one lower limb. The theoretical part summarizes information about the postural system, postural functions, central motor control, judo and describes the methods that inspired the exercise unit. In the practical part, there are case studies of four probands from the sports club TJ Sokol Centropen Dačice. The key part was to perform an examination on the NeuroCom posturography device. Part of the thesis is a sample of selected elements that were used during the research. The results of the examination show that these young judokas have faulty posture and muscle shortening, as well as poor postural functions and insufficient stabilizing function of the lower limb. When comparing the entrance and exit examination, which followed the end of the three-month research, there was no significant difference. However, there was an improvement in certain aspects, which may be related to the inclusion of the given elements. This work could serve as educational material for judo coaches and an inspiration for creating a training plan.
Physiotherapy in people with multiple sclerosis with higher neurological disability
Knapová, Veronika ; Novotná, Klára (advisor) ; Suchá, Lucie (referee)
BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Veronika Knapová Supervizor: Mgr. Klára Novotná, Ph.D. Title: Physiotherapy in people with multiple sclerosis with higher neurological disability Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) with severe disabilitiy focusing on postural and respiratory functions. The theoretical part gives a comprehensive overview of the problematics of this disease. Great emphasis is placed on the possibilities of rehabilitaion care in MS, especially in patients with severe neurological deficit and the importance of the interdisciplinary team. Furthermore, there is a chapter devoted to respiratory physiotherapy and basic terms in the postural system, on which procedures used in a practical part are focused. In the practical part I focus on the description of case reports of 4 patients with MS with severe neurological deficit according to the Expanded disability status scale 7.0 and more. Each patient underwent 6 individual home therapies. The therapies were focused mainly on influencing respiratory and postural functions. The results of these therapies were objectively evaluated using the following functional tests: Unsupported Sitting Endurance Test, Modified Functional Reach Test and Examination Of the Strenght Of...

The influence of the foot on posture and the axial system
Kvasnička, Tomáš ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Janečková, Alexandra (referee)
Diagnosis of a flat foot plaques a large percentage of the population lately, which is probably caused by people's current lifestyle. The goal of my thesis was to find the effect of flat foot on posture as a whole and figure out a suitable therapy to influence this disorder. The introduction described the anatomical structure of the arch of the foot and its biomechanical function. Then, the causes of the sagging of the arch were described and the effects on the whole body. Based on these findings a set of excercises was created, in order to improve the sagging of the arch of the foot, and then demostrated on a patient with flat foot. At the end of the thesis is a summary of the results and recomendations for future work with problems of this type.

Vliv sportovních odvětví s jednostranným zatížením - HOKEJ - na poškození páteře a pohybového aparátu
PEROUTKA, Michal
Abstract This bachelor thesis discusses the issue of impact of specific ice-hockey movement on the player{\crq}s locomotory system. The thesis was aimed to identify the occurrence rate of spinal damage and locomotory system function disorders in a selected set of top sportsmen. The strategy of this bachelor thesis is based on quantitative research. A standardized interview and observation methods were used for data collection. It includes clinical examination methods of aspection, palpation and testing. Photos and videos were used to obtain more accurate evaluation of some clinical examinations. The acquired data were tabulated and a positive finding rate was evaluated in percentage. The set under evaluation was created by random selection with the following criteria: - Respondent is a top ice hockey player - Respondent player{\crq}s position is defender or forward The set includes 60 members who are divided in three sections by age categories of the Rules & Regulations of the Czech Ice Hockey Association. In addition, this breakdown provides information on whether the damage rate of occurrence depends on how long the player has played the sport. The survey results confirmed a hypothesis that ice hockey contributes to spinal damage and locomotory system function disorders. This thesis should provide another piece of evidence that the player{\crq}s locomotory system is not adequately considered in the training process. It is documented that although this issue is mentioned in training methods, preventive and corrective actions with respect to inflicted locomotory system injuries are not sufficiently used in practice.
