Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic

Title: Basic Firearms Training for The Police of the Czech Republic Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to elaborate on basic firearms and shooting technique training within the scope of the basic training course of the Police of the Czech Republic. Methods: The fundamental methods used in the thesis are the data collection method, applied not only for studying literature, but also in the subsequent selection of professional experience and knowledge. Another method is the analysis method, used for expert evaluation, verification, the quantitative, material, as well as interpretative and comparative analysis. Another basic scientific method is applied, for the purpose of describing basic methodological and tactical procedures and also creating a set of preparatory training sessions. The method is referred to as information synthesis. Results: The output of the thesis is creating a complex view of the issue concerning firearms training for the Police of the Czech Republic according to today's methodology, tasks and objectives laid on this education course. Despite the curriculum of the firearms training being the same for several years, there is a definite improvement and effort to draw the training closer to actual situations and operations. Peer consultants as a means of handling crises while working for the Police of the Czech Republic

The master thesis Peer Providers as a Means of Support during Crises for the Police of the Czech Republic explores the role of peer providers in assisting police officers during times of crisis. The theoretical section of the thesis explains the concept of crises, including their causes, typology, and progression, while also showcasing various means of assistance available during such situations. It presents an overview of the Police of the Czech Republic and highlights the requirements and unique aspects of police work, emphasizing the associated burdens. Furthermore, the thesis delves into the options of psychosocial support offered to police officers within the Police of the Czech Republic, with particular focus on the peer support system provided by peer providers. To gather empirical data, the research conducted semi-structured interviews with ten police officers who serve as peer providers within the Prague Regional Police Directorate. Through this research, the study examined the role of peer providers in helping police officers navigate crises. Title: Comparison of the equipment and equipment of the intervention units at the central and regional levels. Goals: The description of the equipment and equipment of the Rapid Deployment Unit and the regional intervention units, familiarization with legal regulations, intake of equipment and equipment and evidence of differences in equipment and equipment between the two components. Stress load in a specific job

This thesis focuses on the stress loads and stressors of the Police of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, stress, stress history, types of stress and where stress comes from is closely described. The next part explains the influence of the load and stress on health, and the consequences of stress overload. The end of the theoretical part is focused on the unitary armed security corps. Work stress, stressors and factors at Police of the Czech Republic are defined there. The empirical part discusses a research of the stress level in the workplace of the Police of the Czech Republic that was carried out in Chomutov, Jirkov, Ústí nad Labem and Prague via questionnaire survey. This part of the work provides an inspection of the general characteristics of the sample, its statistic evaluation and graphs with an interpretation of the results. At the end, the stress level is evaluated and stressors which affect the workplace of selected group of Police of the Czech Republic are identified. Finally, the measures for their limitation are proposed.
Edukation of Police Officers on issues of victim assistance

This thesis deals with the training of police officers on issues of victim assistance. Its mission is to develop a theoretical introduction with a focus on victims of crime from the perspective of science, then map the system of assistance and training of police officers in the area of victims of crime and help mediated in collaboration with external organizations. An integral part of the work is also adequately describe the appropriate way of dealing with victims of police officers, furthermore, based on a questionnaire survey to analyze the assistance of police officers to victims of crime in terms of legal and psychological aspects of their behavior and knowledge according to length of service. This analysis will draw some conclusions and the for this issue will be designed methodical plan aimed at expanding the knowledge of police officers for assistance to victims of crime.
Mobbing and bossing within the framework of the Police of the Czech Republic

Mobbing and bossing is a kind of bullying in the workplace, which, in time, increasingly gets even in the armed forces, including the Police of The Czech republic. Psychic violence in the workplace is a serious problem, which is very underestimated. The aim of the work is to inform readers about the existence of hidden and dangerous psychical torture within the Police of the Czech republic. The work also gives information how to proceed in case of mobbing or bossing occurence in the primary department of the Police of the Czech republic.
