1 Abstract Motor third party liability insurance The diploma thesis deals comprehensively with the issue of liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of a vehicle - the most important compulsory contractual insurance in the Czech Republic, focusing on the creation of the obligation of the damager to compensate for damage caused by the operation of the vehicle and the subsequent creation of the right of the injured party to insurance benefits. The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive solution of the situation arising as a result of a traffic accident caused by a combination vehicle, the individual parts of which are insured by different insurers and a description of the legal relations between the individual entities. To this end, the thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter of the thesis, the institution of insurance is generally defined, as well as the basic concepts associated with this institution. In the second chapter of the thesis, an interpretation of the creation of the duty of the tortfeasor to compensate for the damage is given, focusing on the damage arising in connection with the operation of vehicles, including an interpretation of closely related issues to the tortfeasor's duty to compensate for the damage. Analysis and cooperation of the property and liabality insurance of individuals with selected insurance companies on the Czech market

The bachelor's thesis deals with property and liability insurance for individuals. The theoretical part of the thesis describes terms such as insurance, insured event and insurance industry. Then it focuses specifically on the property and the liability insurance. The practical part includes a survey of the insurance offers of five selected insurance companies. Then, it contains an analysis of the answers from a questionnaire survey to find out how people perceive these two insurances. The practical part also includes the search for the most appropriate insurance offers for 3 fictitious applicants.

Karolína Kočová Supervisor's e-mail address: kkocova@koop.cz Abstract: This diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of using generational mortality tables for third party liability insurance, mainly for bodily injured. It describes the construction of generational mortality tables and the creation of RBNS claims reserves. Besides the demonstration of these models, the work analyzes the results of calculating reserves in accordance with generational mortality tables and actual mortality tables of the Czech Republic. An impor- tant element in provision calculating is the simulation of future life expectancy of the insured, i.e. random generation of life expectancy based on generational mortality data. Characteristics of the distribution of reserves are derived from simulations. Furthermore, we compare the results of stochastic and determi- nistic approach of computing the reserves. Legal regulation of liability insurance Abstract This thesis aims to give a comprehensive and logically structured interpretation of the subject of the regulation of liability insurance in private law of the Czech legislation, placing special emphasis on its practical application in the context of the current judicial decision-making practice. Although being one of the most popular insurance products on the Czech insurance market, liability insurance is given relatively little attention in specialized literature with the exception of the specific area of motor vehicle liability insurance. Therefore, this thesis focuses in particular on the general regulation of liability insurance stipulated in Sec. 2861 - 2867 of the Czech Civil Code. In this thesis, liability insurance is considered to be primarily an obligation relationship, with the thesis structure adjusted accordingly: one by one, it discusses the establishment, subjects, object, subject-matter and finally the termination of the legal relation. The main part of the thesis looks at the subject-matter of the liability insurance legal relation with a detailed analysis of the basic rights and obligations of its parties. D&O (Directors and Officers Liability) insurance of members of a joint stock company bodies

The topic of the submitted diploma thesis is the directors and officers liability insurance of members of a joint stock company bodies and its aim is to analyze this insurance product and to evaluate possibilities of its use in domestic conditions. This theme is topical because of the recent financial crisis as well as with regard to the recodification of the Czech private law which resulted in demanding more requirements on members of a joint stock company bodies during performance of their office and most importantly the danger of guaranty for obligations of company in accordance with the provision § 68 of the law on commercial corporations constitutes a really big threat for members of a joint stock company bodies. In order to understand the dangers from which the insurance should protect, first of all the first chapter is dedicated to basic characteristics of joint stock company and mainly to duties of members of a joint stock company bodies which are divided into two groups in this thesis - fiduciary duties (duty of due care, duty of loyalty, duty of secrecy, prohibition of competition, duty of personal performance of office) and so called "technical" duties. Further focuses are primarily on non-life insurance, consequently to the area of motor third party liability insurence. It offers a view of the history of Brno public transport. It describes the current situation and looks into the future visions. Last but not least, it points to risk areas and areas with the highest traffic accident rates in Brno.

The liability of the employee for the damages

The thesis is devoted to employee s liability for damages. The first chapter describes a system of labour law and its main sources. The successive chapter discusses the employment, defines its subject, object and content, and briefly defines the basic types of employment. Another chapter is devoted to responsibility as such, followed by a chapter focusing on responsibility in labour relations. An important part of this thesis is the types of labour employee s liability for damages and compensation. The work also briefly discusses the possibility of liability s insurance and moderation. The last chapter deals with specific fields examples, which is the basis for evaluation of legislation and recommendations for employees and employers.

Analysis of business liability insurance on Czech insurance market

This Master's thesis deals with analysis of the Czech business liability insurance market, while using a predefined client for preparation of insurance proposals. It then performs an analysis of fulfilling the requirements through control of insurance terms and conditions. Furthermore, the thesis compares the information required by individual insurance companies for the insurance calculations and examines the factors on which the client decides among the proposed insurances. In the course of the thesis is mapped the work of insurance broker, whose activity corresponds to the individual tasks performed by the thesis.
