Recruitment of the workers to a company

The bachelor thesis is dealing with recruitment of the workers to a company. The main aim is to describe, characterize, analyze and assess process of recruitment as a whole. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first two chapters are theoretical ones and the third and four chapters represent a practical part. The first chapter includes human resources activities, the second one focuses on job advertisement, job description and job requirements, recruitment process and process of selection including methods of recruitment and methods of selection process. The third part describes recruitment process that is applied in a real company. The last chapter is my assessment and recommendation for the company on the basis of gained theoretical knowledge and my findings.
Selection and Admission of Staff on the Labour Market in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with used aspects of admission of new staff. Czech labour market is described in brief , including the recent trends in the unemployment rate. The work attends to the process of admission of new staff, variety of methods, mode of choosing and the steps of selection new staff. There is a chapter that deals with strategy and instruments of staff selection, especially CV and interview. The final chapter is dedicated to the question of discrimination in respect to staff selection.

Thesis describes level of current use of internet within Advanced Search Technology and suggests further possibilities of internet tools involvement into the company business processes. Main target of the thesis is to monitor processes of current business model, to identify the tools used in them and define role of the tools for particular process. Thesis further analyses the use of these tools regarding current trends, company competitors and the data observed by questionaire sent to employees, candidates and competitors of Advanced Search Technology. Minor target is to find an innovative use of new tools or identify potential of use of the currently used tools. The thesis contains a proposal for networking platform within online communities Facebook and LinkedIn.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the processes of acquisition and selection of employees in IT companies during the economic recession. The first part describes general methods of recruitment in IT companies. It characterizes different methods of employees selection and describes their benefits and risks. The second part analyzes the acquisition and selection of employees in one specific Czech IT company. It evaluates different methods of recruitment in terms of candidates success in the selection process. It also analyzes the processes of recruitment and basic HR indicators. The end of the work makes recommendations to the analyzed company that can help to reduce costs and increase effectiveness of recruitment processes.

The aim of this thesis is to monitor all steps of selection procedure, especially focused on job interview as a key method of this process. Teoretical part concerns with single stages of job interview, preparations for interview and supporting documents. Next section is focused on activities and HR employees mistakes during interwiev. Following part is deals with applicants nonverbal behavior and ethics. Last segment concerns with actual legislature.

Výsledky podniku a dosahovanie podnikových cieľov sú výsledkom práce zamestnancov a preto je v záujme podniku zamestnávať tých najlepších.Nakoľko som zamestnancom spoločnosti AXA Assistance rozhodla som sa v spolupráci s personálnym oddelením popísať tento proces v spomínanej spoločnosti. Cieľom mojej práce je popísať činnosť získavania a výberu zamestnancov v spoločnosti AXA Assistance a navrhnúť vhodné opatrenie pre zlepšenie tohto procesu.

Teoretická část se věnuje jednotlivým personálním činnostem a jejich charakteristikám. V praktické části jsou analyzovány vybrané personální činnosti v konkrétním podniku. Pozornost je zaměřena na získávání pracovníků, výběr pracovníků, orientaci pracovníků a péči o pracovníky. Oblast péče o pracovníky se věnuje pracovnímu prostředí a službám a benefitům poskytovaným zaměstnancům. Vybrané personální činnosti jsou popsány, zhodnoceny a srovnány s poznatky uvedenými v teoretické části. Pro zjištěné rozdíly jsou naznačena doporučení pro praxi.
