BAROQUE FEELING OF LIFE

I perceive the thesis as the outcome of longer-term considerations over the relationship between architecture and music, as well as the concepts of genius loci, memory of place, or site-specific art. Thanks to the closer encounter with the Broumov landscape and the churches designed by the architects Kryštof and Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer, located in it, these reflections were connected with the term Baroque. The work is an experiment exploring the diversity of contemporary musical approaches responding to unified task based on the principles of Baroque architecture.
Metallurgy and manufacturing of compacted graphite cast iron

This thesis deals with the production of compact graphite iron in a foundry HEUNISCH Brno, s.r.o. The first part describes the structure, chemical composition, properties, methods of modification and inoculation. The following section describes the production of cast iron, metallographical evaluation of the planimetric method and image analysis.

ABSTRACT The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether the pupils of the second stage of primary school, specifically the pupils of the 6th grade, are able to experiment independently in the environment of dynamic geometry with a suitably prepared material. The theoretical basis of the work includes the study of the valid intended curriculum of geometry at the second stage of primary school, the relationship of so-called inquiry-oriented teaching to the possibility of student experimentation in learning geometry, the study of pedagogical theories in connection with inquiry education and also in relation to mathematisation, which is in the teaching of mathematics and geometry necessarily required. The student experiment is conceived here as an independent didactic method. From the point of view of the feasibility of the experiment and subsequent research, the environment of dynamic geometry was chosen - the GeoGebra system. The theoretical part of the work ends with a description of parameters important for the feasibility of experimentation in the environment of dynamic geometry in the teaching of geometry. Advanced Topics in Plane Geometry

The aim of this thesis is to introduce a series of knowledge from advanced planimetry, which can be proved using the knowledge of high school geometry. Selected theorems deal with characteristic of squares with a common vertex (Finsler-Hadwiger theorem, Theorem of Four Squares, Bottema's theorem), significant points of plane entities (Gergonne point theorem, Švrček point theorem, Simson's Theorem, Miquel's theorem), Feuerbach's circle and its relation to the Euler's line. In this thesis, there is also mentioned Reim's theorem, Napoleon's theorem, and Thebault's theorem. This thesis contains a lot of illustrations created in the Geogebra Mathematical Software, which are available online in interactive form.

The aim of this diploma thesis is description not only planimetric problems and their verification in a dynamic mathematical program GeoGebra, but also presentation of the author after whom it is called. The thesis is illustrated with pictures, which can help the reader to understand the problem and verification. This thesis can be used as a supplement the curriculum in secondary schools, where using dynamic program GeoGebra and subsequent verification may reach a better understanding of the topic.
