Moumdjian, Lousin ; Dudová, Agnieszka (advisor) ; Mahr, Edwin (referee)
Title: A Case Study of Physiotherapy treatment of Low Back Pain. Thesis aim: This thesis involves a case study regarding physiotherapy approach to low back pain localized in the area of the lumbo-sacral junction and the left hip joint. The theoretical part aims to explain the kinesiology and biomechanical pathologies of the lumbo- sacral joint and pelvic girdle functioning as a unit. While the practical part refers to the case study; the examinations used and the effectiveness of the therapy with the approaches used. Methods: The practical part is based on a 55 year old female, in a state of 2 year post fall on the left hip who now complains of low back and left hip joint pain. The study consisted of physiotherapeutic approaches for initial kinesiological examination, followed by 5 therapy sessions lasting an hour each, and a final kinesiological examination. All methods used were non-invasive. Results: Progress was very much markable in the course of 5 days of therapy. The patient's pain level at the left hip joint and low back pain (LBP) decreased. The therapies used have shown to be very successful concerning my patient's diagnosis. Conclusion: The patient felt the improvements and after 5 sessions, her goal's have been met, and that was to decrease the pain she felt at rest, during sleep. The...
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of the fracture of the distal antebrachium
Mašková, Klára ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Kozáková, Alena (referee)
Titel: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of the fracture of the distal antebrachium Goals: The goal of this thesis is to summerize theoretical and practical information about fracture of distal antebrachium, to peruse sources of this problems and to concieve adequate therapy. Methods: The theoretical part is describing anatomy and functional kinesiology of the antebrachium and hand, then fractures of the distal antebrachium. The thesis considers mostly conservative treatment, complications of treatment and following therapy. The practical part is the describing aplication of gained theoretical knowledges about concrete diagnosis. It contains incoming kineziological assessment and conclusion, which makes short- term rehabilitation plan. This part is also decribing the process of therapeutical units, outcoming kineziological assessment and final evaluation of the therapy. Key words: antebrachium, hand, accident, physiotherapy
Case report patient after implantation of left total endoprosthesis knee
Mertlík, Jakub ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Hankovcová, Eva (referee)
Title: Case report patient after implantantion of left total endoprosthesis knee Objective: The aim of this thesis is the processing of case studies selected patients in countinous professional practice and become familiar with theoretical base implantation diagnosis of total knee arthroplasty. Abstract: This case study was performed during the period of 10.1. to 4. 2. 2011. This article is divided into a theoretical component and a practical component. The theoretical component consists of an anatomical description of the knee joint and its kinesiology. The issue of arthritis are described along with the complications of total knee replacement, their types, indications and contraindications. Also, surgical technique and possible complications are discussed as a reminder of basic anatomical and biomechanical characteristics of the knee joint. The practical component focuses on the aspects of rehabilitation in patients with total knee arthroplasty. The case report was completed on a patient with implanted total knee arthroplasty through initial analysis and a detailed proposal therapy rehabilitation treatment plan. In conclusion, the practical component is composed of final testing and evaluation of the therapy plan. Key words: total endoprosthesis, knee joint, physiotherapy, case report
Case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total knee replacement
Vášková, Mariana ; Dudová, Agnieszka (advisor) ; Hlavičková, Růžena (referee)
This bachelor's dissertation discusses a case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total knee replacement. In the first, theoretical, part, anatomic structures, biomechanics of the knee, and knee replacement are described as well as the typology of operations and physiotherapeutic ap- proaches to patients after total knee replacement. In the second part, a case report is described. It contains anamnesis, initial kinesiologic examination, course of the therapy, final kinesiologic examination and evaluation of the therapy. The results of physiotherapeutic care of the patient are: increased range of motion of the knee, enhanced muscle strength in lower extremities, removal of some reflexive changes, and improved mobility of patella of the operated limb. As a result of physioterapeutic care, the overall condition of the patient has improved.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of the fracture of lateral malleolus
Černocká, Michaela ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Title: Case Study of A Physiotherapy Treatment of A Patient with the Diagnosis of Fracture of Lateral Malleolus Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to present basic information on ankle fractures and to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above mentioned diagnosis. Method: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a discription of the anatomic structure and the function of the ankle joint, the kinesiology of the foot and the biomechanics of walking. Furthermore, it deals with traumatology of the ankle area focusing on fractures, diagnostic methods, treatment and physotherapy methods and on courses of action after ankle fractures. The practical part is conceived a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis on the baisis of which aims and methods of the therapy were determined. The thesis presents a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis and a therapy efficiency evaluation. Key words: ankle joint, fracture, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, case study
Case Study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis fracture of distal part of radius and proximal part of humerus
Zahradníková, Pavla ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Title of bachelor's thesis: Case Study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of fracture of distal part of radius and proximal part of humerus Methods: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the problems of physiotherapeutic procedures of a patient with the diagnosis state after the fracture of distal part of radius and proximal part of humerus and to process a detailed casuistry of the patient with this diagnosis. The first part of the bachelor thesis is theoretical and is processed on the basis of the background research. Anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand joints are included in the first part. Furthermore, it comprises types of fractures, their treatment and particularly the physiotherapeutic procedures which can have influence on the state. The second part of the thesis is specialized and is processed on the basis of the casuistry involving therapeutic procedures in the diagnosis state after the fracture of proximal part of humerus and distal part of the radius on the left. This part consists of eight therapeutic units which were undertaken ambulatory at the rehabilitative department in the regional hospital in Kladno. The conclusion of the specialized part of the thesis deals with the therapy effect evaluation. Key words: Fracture,...
