Wellness center design with minimal environmental impact
Pečinka, David ; Kolářová, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to design wellness centre wellness centre with minimal impact on the environment. The building has two above-ground floors with L-shaped floor plan and a flat roof. The first floor hosts the wellness centre with four saunas and a cooling pool. A bar with refreshments is proposed on the 2nd floor as well as office. Building services are located on the first floor. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the architectural and structural design. The structure is based on strip foundations that are carried out on pilots. The load-bearing structure of the building is formed using ceramic blocks masonry insulated with mineral wool. The floor structures are designed as reinforced concrete prefabricated panels. The flat roof of the building is green. The second part of the thesis deals mainly with the design of building services. The building will be heated and refrigerated by four heat pumps and will also use energy from photovoltaic panels. Heat and cold will be distributed in the facility using air conditioning units. Rainwater will be used to irrigate surplus will be absorbed on the investor’s property. Retention tank with an overflow into the infiltration boxes. The third part of the thesis deals with the evaluation Energy performance certificate of the used heating methods compared to the use of fossil fuels. Three methods of heating are proposed. I choose the optimal way of heating from a financial and environmental perspective. The thesis is mainly elaborated in Autocad, Deksoft and Microsoft office software.
Civic amenities building
Gajárková, Marie ; Svoboda, David (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of this Master´s project is to design a new restaurant with a guest house at the outskirt of the city Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The proposed building has a ground floor in the first part of the building and two ground floors and attic in the second part. The first includes technical facilities, a storage space, a wellness area, toilets and a restaurant with a kitchen. The other floors are designed for accommodation with a total 10 rooms. The structure is based on strip foundations. The structural system is made of masonry walls. The external wall of the building is made of ceramics blocs, insulated with ETISC. The floor structure is designed as precast concrete panels. The roof of the single floor of the building is designed as a flat roof. The roof above attics is designed as a pitched roof. The project contains designed of photovoltaic panels, heating and HVAC. The systems are designed to maximize ecologic efficiently. The third part of this diploma thesis is the spatial acoustics of the restaurant and salon.
Gallery in Olomouc
Ambrozek, Patrik ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Bantová, Sylva (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is developing a design of a gallery near the historical centre of Olomouc. The building houses a gallery exhibition space, a depository, an auditorium, a café, entrance and communication areas, sanitary facilities for visitors and employees, office of the gallery management, and space for building devices. The building is designed with two aboveground storeys. The load-bearing structure of the building is designed as a cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame and floor slabs with aerated concrete masonry infill. The facade is designed as ventilated with a green vertical garden or glass panels. The exhibition space is designed with a warm roof. Second part of the thesis design of building services. The building uses mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Heating and domestic hot water supply in a the building is provided by a heat pump. Electricity is partially provided by photovoltaic power plant. Rain water is effectivelly used in this building as well for a irrigation. Third part of the thesis deals with facility management and design of the way how is the building supplied, organised and managed, including insource and outsource services used here. Software used to elaborete thesis include: AutoCad, Revit, Lumion, Deksoft, Word, Excel, Photoshop and BuildingDesign.
Thin films for photovoltaics deposited by plasma chemistry methods\n
Fejfar, Antonín
Thin films are key components for practically all of contemporary photovoltaic cells for solar energy utilization. Cells use thin films for optimizing light trapping, for selecting and collection of photogenerated charges and interface passivation or as absorber layers. Each year several hundreds of square kilometers of thin films are deposited mainly by plasma chemistry methods.
Systém aktivního chlazení fotovoltaických panelů pro zvýšení jejich účinnosti
LANDKAMER, Ladislav
The work was divided into two main parts. The first one dealt with the analysis of the problem of influencing the performance of photovoltaic panels by active cooling. Based on the results of the analysis, an optimal system for active cooling was designed with respect to the performance enhancement but also to the damage elimination possibilities. The parameters for the implementation of the system were specified depending on the analysis performed. This analysis provided answers to the choice of the appropriate technology and to the technical design of the whole system. The second part of the work presented the actual technical solution. In the form of its design, construction, programming and testing of the resulting system.
Solární panely a změny ve využívání krajiny v ČR - regionální srovnání
MOJŽÍŠKOVÁ, Markéta
The bachelor thesis is aimed at mapping the location of solar panels in individual regions in the Czech Republic. It examines the question of owners and analyses the percentage difference of solar panels located on agricultural land among individual regions. In further it is focused on factors affecting the location of solar panels in particular regions in terms of regional policy, agricultural policy, subsidy policy and renewable energy policies. The next part of work focuses on landscape use in the Czech Republic and its conditions for the use of photovoltaic power plants. The work based on analysis of secondary data obtained from statistics, cadastral office's real estate maps and geoportal, uses data from the Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Environment. The Results show the connection between landscape use and its changes in landscape usage in term of solar panels installation.
Financial return of home photovoltaic power plant
Jančík, Josef ; Malý, Milan (referee) ; Mauder, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis if focused on return on ivestment evaluation of a photovoltaic system of residential house. The calculation is made for photovoltaic system with and without accumulation and in combination with other alternative source – heat pump. The costs of instalation and working of new systems are then compared between each other and with the cost of working of a current system without photvoltaic.
Solar irrigation
Straňák, Rastislav ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of solar irrigation system together with the design and manufacture of the owner´s solution. The beginning of the thesis deals with the analysis of commercial equipment, determining its possible innovations. It continues with the analysis and selection of individual components for author´s solution. Newly designed device has a microcontroller that evaluates data from the relevant components, thus controlling the system processes. Thanks to the protection against self-destruction caused by running out of water or clogged hoses, the protection of plants against overwatering and the additive function of fertilization, i tis a compact solar irrigation system. The last part deals with the testing of the created equipment and the analysis of the achieved results.
Possibilities of reducing energy intensity and production of CO2 type objects
Ondruch, Jiří ; Kudela, Libor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the issue of energy intensity of buildings. The thesis describes available technologies and ways to reduce energy intensity and CO2 production. In the design part, suitable measures are applied to selected typical buildings, which lead to lower consumption of the building, savings on operation costs and lower CO2 production.
Design of a photovoltaic power system three-person household in Ústi nad Orlicí area
Wohner, Marek ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of individual concepts related to photovoltaics and the design of a photovoltaic power plant. At the beginning of the bachelor thesis we find the history of photovoltaics and an explanation of the photovoltaic phenomenon. Much emphasis is placed on the analysis of individual photovoltaic cells and batteries. In addition, the bachelor thesis describes photovoltaic systems and legislation concerning photovoltaics.
