The following is a review of the issue of photovoltaics, which includes the development of photovoltaics in the world, research of photovoltaic power stations in the Czech Republic and technology of photovoltaic power stations. At the end of the theoretical part is a list of methods to evaluate efficiency investments. The practical part includes a description of the selected photovoltaic station Zakřany 5.4 MWp, financial projection and economic evaluation of the real operation and there is also explicit evaluation of the economic efficiency of the project.. The comparison of the projection and the real operation and the possible negative influences affecting the power station are in conclusion.
Evaluation of nonstandard operation possibilities of power sources in MV network
Čáslava, Jiří ; Opat, Jaroslav (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with solution of nonstandard operation connection of E.ON's 22kV distribution network in given area, considering the possibilities of operating dispersed electric power sources currently available, as well as possible power sources connected to the distribution network in the future and its potential operation limitation. A part of this paper is a description of calculation methods used for network evaluation in steady state, with emphasis on linear calculations used by E-Vlivy program, in which the operational possibilities are simulated. Therefore, a description of this program is also included. Suggested operation possibilities correspond with E.ON's valid distribution network operation rules. The outcome of this paper will serve to E.ON's 22kV network's controllers as materials for network operating in nonstandard operation states.
Characteristic of photovoltaic system
Pokorný, Marek ; Dolenský, Jan (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is informed first about photovoltaics universally, works to inform the photovoltaic panels and complete plants. The work also includes instructions on how to implement PVP in accordance with law. Another part is the rough draft of the photovoltaic power 30 kWp, which can be placed on the house, computation and calculation of investment and them profitable investments to time. Design is made in two separate forms of the Fronius Solar and Sunny Design, their outputs are compared. The practical part of this work cooperates with the company SOLARTEC Ltd. for experimental measurements of the photovoltaic system and develop a methodology for setting the properties of real solar systems in operation from the measured data then stored in a database. These data further evaluate and compare the similar operating conditions. This data will show as the course of production of electricity during the typical day in percentage terms, depending on the incident irradiance, cell temperature, angle of incident radiation, etc. We can compare what it looks like an ideal day in terms of production of photovoltaic power, with the other days. Further are in work mentioned histograms achievement panel behind classical day and behind all - time investigation.
Renewable resources of energy in Czech republic
Truhlář, Marek ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Chroboczek, Libor (advisor)
The content of this bachelor study is a technical recherche of the renewable resources of energy in the Czech republic. In the first part of the study there are described individual kinds of renewable resources of energy. The principle, the usage potential in Czech republic, some advantages and disadvantages about every topic are mentioned. In the second part the study is focused on usage of solar energy in the Czech Republic. The present state of used barrierlayer photocells and solar collectors is decribed in this part. In the last section there is a description of a photovoltaic power station in Otrokovice.
Photovoltaic power station in area South Moravia, appreciation their influence on environment
Krystýnová, Hana ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (referee) ; Kotlík, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on possible utilization of the sun energy for electricity production. It points out the basic components, attributes and functions of the photovoltaic system, also the suitability of the South-Moravian region for photovoltaic power station construction. Further there are mentioned current photovoltaic power stations built in South-Moravian from the point of view of location, performance etc. It analyses potential and real possibilities of solar power utilization in the South Moravian Region in connection with the Territorial Energy Policy.
Evaluation of business intention
Krčilová, Jana ; Neumaierová, Inka (advisor) ; Tadevosyanová, Luiza (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment in photovoltaic power station. The field of photovoltaic power stations in the Czech Republic has experienced a huge development in the past years and at the same time there have been a lot of changes since 2011, which had a negative impact on business in this field. This thesis deals with evaluating a business plan on the basis of the real data during three years of its operation and it compares it with the assumed results during the lifetime period of photovoltaic power station. This thesis uses some economic indicators for evaluating this investment and they show the efficiency and added value of the project. The evaluation is demonstrated on two possible scenarios. The crucial part of this thesis is the evaluation of the most probable scenario of the modified Bill No. 180/2005 Coll. and the next one is from the former point of view with the 26% withholding tax during the whole lifetime period of the power station. The outcome of this thesis should be a decision of the investor if it is good for him to continue in the project or not.
Business plan
Kočí, Pavel ; Krause, Josef (advisor) ; Hladký, Jan (referee)
The field of photovoltaics and solar power stations in the Czech Republic have experienced a huge developement in the past years thank's to very favourable conditions for enterprising in this line. These ones have changed a lot from the year 2011 and caused large changes in the photovoltaics. This thesis deals with business plan focusing on realization of minor solar power station. The main goal of this thesis is to compare on the basis of indicators of efficiency investment appraisal the real project from the year 2010 with the same fictitious project from the year 2011 and thus to show the impacts of legislation changes which should prevent from further growth of solar power stations in the Czech Republic. In this work photovoltaics is presented also generally so that it could provide comprehensive view of this branch.
Photovoltaic power station - return and evaluation of investment
DUDOVÁ, Alena
The goal of this bachelor thesis is evaluation of the effectiveness and return of investment in photovoltaic power station, then I compare the effectiveness of investment in the current conditions of the purchase energy with conditions that were valid in the past.
Evaluation of Effectiveness Concrete Investmen Intention of Photofoltaic Power Station.
ŠVARCOVÁ, Petra
This diploma work is dealing with problems related to production of electrical energy in compliance with environmental protection and assessment of its production from non-renewable sources in reference to sources being renewable. The work puts emphasis on the importance and utilization of solar electrical energy. The sun is a source that will not get dried or mined out and will not stop shining. The goal of diploma work was to appraise the investment effectiveness with regard to a photovoltaic power station and assess the power plant influence in relation to classic sources for energy production and environmental protection. Within the diploma work, there were appraised three variants of the investment project which assumed life time longer than 20 years comprising conventional financial flows, surface size of 30 000 m2 and roughly required output of 1.5 MW. Single options were assessed upon economical evaluation regarding different ways of financing, in terms of price, output and guarantees provided by suppliers including the assessment of grant influence on the project effectiveness. Based on these data, the most suitable version for the investment project of building up the photovoltaic power plant was chosen. At the conclusion, it is possible to state that the photovoltaic power plant is very considerate towards the living environment in contrast to classical sources for electrical energy production, for example coal-fired power plants which heavily contaminate the environment, and nuclear power plants with risks of radiation escapes.
