Dynamic Analysis of Selected Firing Mechanisms of Firearms
Mešina, Matej ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Slažanský, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis strives to evaluate the dynamic analysis of firing mechanisms of different types of firearms. In the present research is analyzed the matter of firearms and ammunitions, followed by the description of distribution of firearm mechanisms, as well as the detailed scrutiny of the initiation mechanism. The thesis also marginally explores the testing of primers. The last part of the research documents the possible solutions for the analyzed issues. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the geometry of firing mechanisms, followed by the description of the physical principles, which are relevant to this matter. Based on the analysis, a theoretical calculation of the initiation energies for all of the analyzed types of firearms is established. Lastly, the calculation of the initiation energy is calculated, and the security in secure firing of the bullet's primer is determined.
Deriving and Application of Analytical Design of Hammerspring in Firearms
Vobejda, Radek ; Polzer, Stanislav (referee) ; Slažanský, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with inference of analytic relations for calculation of pressure helical coil spring and considerates usage possibilities of simplified relations. In the thesis there is introduced analytic computation of slightly curvatured rod theory completed by finite element method calculations. The thesis describes two springs of firearm, which weren’t able to achieve required functionality. After this there was created a plan of concept particular spring on the base of derivated relations, which should be able to meet operative conditions.
Possibilities of the CAM software PowerMILL 2018 for machining of a component for a firearm
Drmota, Josef ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis deals with possibilities of the CAM software PowerMILL 2018 for machining of a component for a firearm. The thesis consists of a research focused on the issue of combined firearms, the specification of the part the thesis deals with and the analysis of the materials used. The practical chapters solve component clamping, tool selection and subsequent elaboration of the NC programs. At the end of the thesis there is shown the simulation of machinig including collison control.
Dynamic Analysis of Selected Firing Mechanisms of Firearms
Hussliková, Veronika ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Slažanský, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor thesis engages in analysis of firing mechanisms of chosen firearms. In introductory part of the thesis, there is a research made which involves gun problems, theoretical basis of gun theory is summarized and detailed description of firing mechanism of some types of guns is given. Alternatives of solution of the set assignment are analyzed at the end of the theoretical introduction. Practical part of the thesis deals with firing mechanisms’ analysis of four different types of firearms and subsequently with theoretical calculation of initiation energy and impact speed of the firing pin. This calculation is in conclusion applied on some specific guns. Final output is the determination of initiation energy, impact speed of the firing pin and safety in safe firing of the bullet's primer.
Firearms and Environment Interaction Game Mechanics
Lamačka, Zbyněk ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the game mechanics of firearms and interaction with the environment. The aim of this thesis is to create a game demo implementing these mechanics in the Unreal Engine 4. The thesis describes the theoretical foundations of firearms as well as the way of solving implementation problems in video game development. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the implementation of game mechanics such as recoil, weapon modification, and different muzzle flash based on weapon configuration.
Analýza modelu mechanismu palné zbraně
Tichý, Jiří ; Marcián, Petr (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with creation of model of trigger and striking mechanism of revolver. For creation of model analytical approach was chosen. For solving of formed equations was used MATLAB. Correctness of created model was verified by comparison with values gained by measurement. The model was used for testing possible adjustments of mechanism’s parameters.
Legal regulation of weaponis and ammunitio--
Hodan, Jiří ; Rajchl, Jiří (advisor) ; Staša, Josef (referee)
2 Legal regulation of weapons and ammunition Abstract The topic of the presented thesis is the legal regulation of weapons and ammunition analyzed in the context of two legal systems, namely the legislation of the Czech Republic, contained mainly in the provisions of the Weapons Act, which is the subject of the first chapter of this thesis, and the legislation of the United States of America, especially on at the level of federal regulations, including the Second Amendment to the Constitution, but with the necessary overlap into the regulation of the individual states of the federation, which are contained in Chapter Two. Structurally, the chapters are further divided into sub-chapters, and within them the reader is introduced not only to the legal provisions of the relevant regulations, which the author of the work prepared, and in the case of those in foreign languages, also translated, but also to the related jurisprudence and the context of this complex issue, which is further mediated thanks to foreign language and domestic literature, from which the work is also based. After a thorough description and analysis of all relevant provisions, a comparison of the acquired knowledge occurs in the third and last chapter, which is a synthesis and comparison of selected aspects that were chosen to appropriately...
Constitutional law questions of weapons ownership with a focus on the Czech Republic
Havlíček, Václav ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor) ; Hřebejk, Jiří (referee)
Constitutional law questions of weapons ownership with a focus on the Czech Republic Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the issue of ownership and disposal of weapons by civilians in the context of constitutional law with the aim of presenting the reader with a complex basis for understanding the individual institutes related to this topic. The primary focus of this thesis is the area of firearms disposal as a central point of the social debate on this issue. The thesis is divided into seven chapters, each of which is devoted to a different systematic unit. The first chapter is devoted to the definition of the term "weapon" by comparing the concept of this term across different branches of law and making a division of different types of weapons based on their partial characteristics. The second chapter will take the reader through the history of the legal regulation of weapons in our territory, which has been reflected in the current legal concept of weapons in the Czech Republic. Following this, the third chapter describes the current legal regulation of the handling of weapons by civilians in the Czech Republic, especially considering the events of the last two decades. In a separate subchapter, attention is paid to the recent incorporation of weapons into the constitutional order of the Czech...
