The Options of Prosthetic Equipment for Patients with Transfemoral Amputation Covered by Public Health Insurance

TITLE: The Options of Prosthetic Equipment for Patients with Transfemoral Amputation Covered by Public Health Insurance OBJECTIVES : The aim of this work is to present a comprehensive overview of prosthetic equipment for adult patients with transfemoral amputations that are currently available in Czech Republic by health insurance. The theoretical overview is supplemented by three case studies of elderly patients whose improvement of mobility helped them to get special prostheses. METHODS: The basis of the analytical part is literary research and data collection of technical data sheets. The practical part is based on personal experience, consultation with experts and records of each case. RESULTS: The result of the work is a summarization of information related to the assembly of various types of TF prosthesis for adult patients with no special demands. Knee system C-Leg and its application to transfemoral amputation

Title: Knee System C-Leg and its application to transfemoral amputation Objectives: Aim of this work is characteristic of knee system C-Leg prosthetic leg construction with knee system C-Leg applied in patients with transfemoral amputations, the possible setting, used in combination with a common type of Socket and compare the affect of the image of the patient's gait. Another target is a description of possible mistakes in the setting of the C-Leg and their manifestations in the initial use and walking Methods: In this work I used the method of analysis previously identified and published knowledge and experience with the knee of C-Leg, its buildings, the settings recommended by the manufacturer and walk to school transfemoral amputation. Compiling the various types of Socket used to walking training, the published results of therapy in patients amputated and its own experience, I worked under subsequent acts, which occurred during therapy. Results: In keeping with the recommended structure for the transfemoral prosthesis and knee system with the C-Leg and then comparing the different types of Socket and results of therapy in the rehabilitation wards, I described the side effects are possible in the image the patient's gait. Title: Prosthetic equipment for transfemoral amputated patients Objectives: The aim of this study was to establish basic educational material about the possibilities of prosthetic equipment after transfemoral amputations. For the completion of this work were added basic information about the transfemoral amputations and the economic efficiency of such equipment. Methods: This study is a theoretical work with in-depth research via the use of the qualitative research method of data collection from provided literature, technical articles, journals and other sources. Results: This work is an essential educational material about transfemoral prostheses suitable for students and the general public. Title: The Comparison of Transfemoral socket Types Goals: The aim of this work is to describe the functional principals and biomechanic characteristics of transfemoral sockets and to create a complex educational text based on information from Czech and all-over-world technical bibliography. Methods: To write this work, quality research was used by means of collection and secondary analysis of data from technical documents, articles and magazines. To verify the information, the method of informal interview with an expert was used. Results: The results provide sufficient information to use this work as an educational document.
