Improving material flow by using a logistics train
Grepl, Radovan ; Urbanovský, Jan (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The main content of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state and the proposal an internal supply of assembly lines in the company Koyo Bearings s. r. o. This company specializes in the production of bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The supply of the lines operates on the principle of Mikl-run. The practical part focuses on creating a simulation model using the Plant Simulation simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. Based on the created model, several variants were proposed to optimize the loading of the packaging material. These variants were analyzed and evaluated.
The Study of Logistics Supply with a Focus on Logistics Costs
Mihalec, Peter ; Ing.Tomáš Petřík (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on storing and logistics operations with non-reversible packaging material in a industrial company. In analytical part is analysed current situation of non-reversible packaging material, its storing and process of supplying production units with this material. In proposal part are suggested some improvements and possible contributions in case of applying these improvements.
Proposal of Waste Elimination in the Production of Stabilizers
Kučera, Roman ; Jozefovic, Peter (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis is trying to solve the elimination of waste and the increase of effectiveness of the packaging process of the stabilizers in the Mubea Stabilizer Bar Systems s.r.o company. The current unsuitable state of the process of packaging is being analysed in this thesis with the help of the techniques and tools of the LEAN methodology. After the subsequent evaluation of the results of the analysis, the suggestion, which should improve and optimize the actual unsuitable state, is being devised.
Assignment of Customer Packaging Material to Consumption
Krečová, Anna ; Zedníček, Stanislav (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with material flow specifically with customer packaging material. Theoretical part represents basic logistic terms. Analytical part is focused on current situation of purchase and using customer packaging material in manufacture. Based on analytical part proposal part includes proposals of possible improvement which attend to reduction of logistic cost and effective improvement of processes connected with the material.
Preparation and characterization of microcrystalline cellulose from food waste
Horáková, Natálie ; Němcová, Andrea (referee) ; Kovalčík, Adriána (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to isolate microcrystalline cellulose from grape pomace. The analysis of grape pomace showed the following main components: lignin (32.9%), cellulose (34.2%), hemicellulose (31.5%) and lipids (7.0%). Various methods have been tested for the isolation and purification of microcrystalline cellulose. As the most suitable method was selected acid hydrolysis with 50 % and 64 % sulfuric acid followed by treatment with ethylenediamine. The morphology of the isolated cellulose was studied by transmission electron microscopy. The diameter of the hydrolyzed cellulose fibers was determined in the range of 15–130 nm. The isolated cellulose was used as reinforcing filler for agar. The agar/cellulose films were prepared by solution casting. The agar/cellulose films exhibited higher values of Young´s moduli and tensile strength but lower elongation at break compared to neat agar films. The results proved that grape pomace can be used as source for the isolation of microcrystalline cellulose with reinforcing ability for agar.
Semiautomatic Dispenser Application in Flexible Low Series PCB Assembly in SMT
Prikryl, Petr ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is solving the issue of introducing the Dotmaster semi-automatic dispenser into the flexible low series surface mount technology assembly of printed circuit boards. The first part of the thesis deals with the issue of introduction to the dispension of solderpastes, adhesives and packaging materials. The second part is focused on the description of the Dotmaster semi-autamatic. The last part is devoted to actual measuring and observation with the device using PD 860002 SA adhesive made by Heraeus company and SAC solder paste by Kester company. Showing the characteristics of dependecies of the shape of the dispensed adhesive and solder paste on several parameters of dispension follows.
Optimizing the Process of Parts Packaging in DURA Automotive CZ, k. s.
Horníková, Daniela ; Veselá, Michaela (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on optimizing the method of packaging of the parts manufactured at a selected workplace in a company. It analyzes the current method of packaging and using the morphological analysis it compares various alternative variants of packaging materials. Based on the set parameters it proposes a new method of packaging of the final products.
The Proposal of Management Improvement of Packaging Material in a Selected Company
Glonek, Andrej ; Siegl, Pavel (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with packaging materials in company Frauenthal Automotive Hustopeče, s. r. o., specifically proposals to improve the storage, flow and use of packaging material with limited storage capacity. The first part contains the theoretical basis of the work. The second part includes a presentation of the company and an analysis of the current situation. In the last part, own solutions to current shortcomings in the company are proposed.

Packaging Technologies as a Topic of Integrated Thematic Instruction at Secondary School
Brožová, Simona ; Bílek, Martin (advisor) ; Kuhnová, Marta (referee)
Bachelor thesis focuses on packaging materials as a widely discussed environmental topic. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with basic information about packaging materials of different types, especially plastics. It includes information on the history, production, use, recycling, as well as the high presence of packaging materials in nature. In the second section of the theoritical part, the thesis focuses on the characteristics of Integrated Thematic Lessons, on the analysis of the Framework Educational Programmes for elementary education and gymnasiums and, last but not least, on the analysis of School Educational Programmes of selected schools. The part of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is a learning module based on Integrated Thematic Lessons called "Packaging Materials". It contains a summary of information on individual packaging materials and a proposal of activities aimed at ensuring the activation of pupils to obtain knowledge, skills and attitudes in the area. The developed learning module was reviewed by five teachers with different educational backgrounds, years of teaching experience and experience with project weeks. Their review shows that the learning module is suitable for the education of students in elementary school and gymnasium. However, despite this fact,...
