First phase of GDR literature: Aufbauliteratur 1949-1956

This work deals with the first phase of the GDR literature, the so-called Aufbauliteratur. It shows how the GDR dealt during the years 1949 to 1956 with the fascist past and how the newly formed socialist state was built. The contemporary literature of the GDR reflects the efforts to reeducate people in the sense of the socialist ideas and to portray the daily life of the new socialist republic. In the meantime this literature should boost the working people to increase the production and to build a socialist economy. The aim of my work is to show the reflection of the former reality in the literature. As a basis for this analysis there are five selected works from Eduard Claudius Mensch an unserer Seite, Hans Marchwitza Roheisen, Elfriede Brüning Regine Haberkorn, Jan Koplowitz Unser Kumpel Max, der Riese und Harry Thürk Die Herren des Salzes. Value Orientation and Life Plans of Children and Youth with Behaviour Disorders

This thesis deals with the value orientation and life plans of children and adolescents who are placed into young offenders' institutions because of their behavioural disorders. The theoretical part elucidates basic conceptions related to values and value orientations. It applies to individual development, family issues and education, behavioural disorders and refers to the difficulty of education and re-education in school facilities for the practice of institutional and protective education. The empirical part is a combination of a quantitative and a qualitative research. The questionnaire survey was used to determine the value orientation, life goals, preferred leisure activities, some attitudes and information about clients from the young offenders' institutions. The questionnaires were handed over to respondents from the six children's homes with school and young offenders' institutions. The established values hierarchy and life goals were compared with the results of a similar research. The unstructured interviews with children ending the compulsory education were mainly focused on the choice of study and career orientation. Upbringing problems analysis of the upbringing centre´s clients from the perspective of health care, psychology care and welfare.

Performed research was set to the upbringing centre`s clients analysis. The study has the quantitative charakter. Subjects of the research were children{\crq}s and youth{\crq}s upbringing problems. The object of the research was the set of upbringing centre{\crq}s in České Budějovice clients with the diagnosis of behaviour disorder in period from May to the November in 2006. I used the secondary data analysis, the observation, the qustinary of choiced informants and the conversation with the clients for the research and confirmation of hypothesis. The aim of the study was the upbringing problems analysis of the upbringing centre{\crq}s clients from the perspektive of health care, psychology and welfare, examination of the effectiveness of care and the cooperation of family, wiew of its economics rear, the culture and the education of parents and those factor{\crq}s effect on the development of the behaviour disorder. The first hypothesis confirmed, that the interconnexion between health care, psychology care and welfare is more effective. The second hypothesis cogitated about probability of negative influences of the family with higher economics rear on the rising of the behaviour diorder. Last hypothesis proved, that higher effectiveness of remedy of behaviour diorder can be supposed by parents with higher economic rear.
