Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnotovou orientací a životními plány dětí a dospívajících umístěných pro poruchy chování do výchovných zařízení. Teoretická část práce objasňuje základní pojmy související s hodnotami a hodnotovou orientací, věnuje se vývoji jedince, problematice rodiny a výchovy, poruchám chování a zmiňuje náročnost výchovy a převýchovy ve školských zařízeních pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy. Empirická část je kombinací kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu. Dotazníkového šetření bylo využito pro zjištění hodnotové orientace, životních cílů, preferovaných volnočasových aktivit, některých postojů a informací o klientech z výchovných zařízení. Dotazníky byly předloženy respondentům z šesti dětských domovů se školou a výchovných ústavů. Zjištěné hierarchie hodnot a životních cílů byly porovnány s výsledky podobného výzkumu. Nestrukturovaná interview, vedená s dětmi končícími povinnou školní docházku, byla převážně zaměřena na volbu studia a profesní orientace. Pro názornou ilustraci a uvedení do problematiky byl výzkum doplněn o případovou studii. The theoretical part elucidates basic conceptions related to values and value orientations. It applies to individual development, family issues and education, behavioural disorders and refers to the difficulty of education and re-education in school facilities for the practice of institutional and protective education. The empirical part is a combination of a quantitative and a qualitative research. The questionnaire survey was used to determine the value orientation, life goals, preferred leisure activities, some attitudes and information about clients from the young offenders' institutions. The questionnaires were handed over to respondents from the six children's homes with school and young offenders' institutions. The established values hierarchy and life goals were compared with the results of a similar research. The unstructured interviews with children ending the compulsory education were mainly focused on the choice of study and career orientation.
