This bachelor thesis deals with the design of natural garden in selected location. Literary review deals with the history and present of gardens, the criteria of these gardens and their natural elements. The thesis describes the types and origin of natural gardens. The gardens that meet the criteria are awarded the Natural Garden or Exemplary Natural Garden plaque. The practical part pays attention to the design of garden in the village Strmilov, located in the South Bohemian Region. This part also describes location, history and present conditions of the garden.
Outdoor education on primary school

This diploma thesis searches opportunities for foundations and inovations of schoolyards, which improve their education potencial. It draws on arguments for achieving the goals of primary education at schoolyards. Presented options are kategorized to three groupes by their primary function: to learn, to play, to work. This research deals with current stage of education potencial of schoolyards at chosen ordinary schools in Rakovník, Louny and Kladno districts. It focuses on schoolyards area and main ways of improving the education potencial of schoolyards. The second part of research finds answers on the same questions at schools which their schoolyards for outdoor learning some years actively construct.

In the first part of the Bachelor thesis, the concept of permaculture is defined, as well as its history and then, there is a description of permaculture principles and practices which can be used in both rural and city environment. In the second part, the author compares the differences in agrotechnical approach and revenues in permaculture and intensive agriculture. The point was to capture and objectively review the advantages and disa-dvantages of these types of agriculture and determine the limit factor. Within the field investigation, a visit to a natural garden, which belongs to a family house, took place. The result is a plan creation, foto documentation, a description of cultivated crops and practices used in this garden.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of natural gardens in both practical and theoretical parts. The practical part is focused on the protection of the environment and natural gardens. In the practical part is processed the ideological solution of the given area, with an emphasis on the support of biodiversity in accordance with the requirements of the contracting authorities. In the thesis there is elaborated an extensive questionnaire survey on the theme of natural garden and the results are related to the current state of garden architecture.

Diploma thesis Didactic use of example natural garden Domamil focuses on school demonstration garden of primary school Domamil and its use in teaching. The thesis deals with the general history of school gardens, describes the natural garden and the criteria under which the garden can obtain the certificate of a natural garden. It also mentions occupational safety, operating and visiting rules of the natural garden. The diploma thesis describes the origin and development of the school example natural garden of the Domamil Primary School and characterizes its individual elements and their gradual building by pupils and teachers of the Domamil Primary School. The whole characteristic of the school example natural garden of the Domamil Elementary School is complemented by a photo documentation. The thesis includes a questionnaire survey, which was carried out between teachers and pupils of the second grade of the primary school Domamil. The questionnaire dealt with the use of the school demonstration natural garden in practice and in teaching. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the current state of the garden, didactic materials were created for teaching in the school demonstration garden of the primary school Domamil. Teaching biology and geography with the use of model school gardens at the secondary school

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis pursues different ways of using school gardening. The author is showing the history of school gardening, dealing with their actual use, describing the elements occuring in the said environment and dealing with the problems of school gardening education. The target of the practical part was to develop series of methodological sheets for teachers and exercises for secondary school's pupils, which could be used during tuitions of biology and geography in the premises of school gardens. The supplement of the thesis is an orientation questionnaire concerning the actual use of school gardens in primary schools.

In the theoretic part, the work gives the leader a view into the literáty overview within the field of elementary-school gardens, thein history and contemporary legislative framework which influences thein today´s look. The focus is on continuously more and more popular tendencies aiming on the human-nature relationship and an extension of such a relation into ecology, physiology, psychology, sociology and didactics. The work hints advantages of outdoor education and school activities, it shows us possibilities of founding an outdoor classroom and offers the reader an insight of already existing examples in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. In the practical part, the author offers solution of realization of a school garden in a chosen area; furthermore it incorporates principles of a naturalistic garden. The design of the chosen project is based on the author´s experience as well as data collected from the school pupils. The concept is extended by thematic level stimulating fantasy of child volunteers.

It defines the meaning and specifics of the natural gardens in general and also in particular sphere of their usage. Special attention is paid to the school gardens, which have been certified as a natural garden or sample natural garden. The thesis attachment contains a documentation of the realized interviews and photos of the visited educational facilities or school gardens.
Creation and realization of a project kindergarten's garden in a natural style

The thesis describes the steps of the project "The Klostermann Pre-school Garden" in Děčín VI, the goal of which was to change a garden with unsatisfactory play elements to a garden in a natural style. The thesis constitutes of three partts: theoretical, executive and practical. The theoretical part explains the goals, methods and means of environmental education and it describes environmental education in the context of The Early Years Framework Educational Programme and the exploitability of the natural style garden. The executive part introduces the project and the changing of the pre-school garden. The practical part describes the educational projects that are applicable for keeping cattle and domestic animals and the usability of the play elements for early years children education.
