Gear design in Autodesk Inventor
Šanca, Kajetán ; Valena, Martin (referee) ; Okál, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the visualisation of gears in Autodesk Inventor software. The thesis includes a theoretical introduction to the matter of gears, describes the principle of their function and basic division. It also focuses on the possibilities and practical use of the gear generator that the software has. Proper use of this tool will help the user to greatly speed up the design of gears. The result is a comprehensive tutorial in the form of presentations, which describes the visualisation of different gear types from design to animation, with the functional use of the gear generator. These presentations will be used as teaching materials for students in the 3CC course, which deals with advanced 3D modelling methods.

This thesis deals with design of right-angled elongated milling head for horizontal boring machine of FERMAT production. The thesis includes a detailed research of milling heads, a description of the head´s basic components and certain commercially available head´s comparison. Design part is describe components description and the design. Calculations are focused on determinating of forces generated during machining, setting of loading spectrum and the power load calculating individual gears during machining. In the next part is calculation of the reactions in the spindle bearings included, the equivalent load and durability of spindle bearings, spindle deformation and spindle bearings optimum distance. The thesis also includes spindle strength calculation, horizontal and vertical shafts analysis, gears design with helical teeth and gear strength. The thesis describes the design of extended milling head and particular design nodes which is supplemented by the 3D model. In this thesis is also included a drawing of assembly and components.
Friction components produced by rapid prototyping
Pečenka, Tomáš ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Omasta, Milan (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to make an overview of use of additive technology for production of friction components. The first part is concerned on review of additive methods and type of materials. In the second section are situated applications of this technology for fabrication of friction components. The main goal of last part is research in area of tribology of parts manufactured by additive technology.
Construction of equipment for deburring gears
Bosák, Daniel ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of the equipment for deburring gears on the Gleason GP 200 machine. The first part contains research of current methods of deburring. At the following analysis of the task dimensions and layout of the machine, focusing on equipment placement, are analyzed. Next, a choice of tool is made. Two variants of design solutions are outlined. One of them is more elaborated. Important structural units are solved. At the end of the thesis an analysis of the geometry and stiffness is made. The maximum equipment load is recommended with regard to the maximum deformation.

This thesis contains the basic dividing of methods and ways of milling of shaped surfaces and subsequent analysis. In the following are contained the basic machinery and tools used in milling of shaped surfaces. Knowledge of the various methods are compared and recommended for use in practice.
Design of direct shift gearbox
Kliš, Vojtěch ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the conceptual design of a double clutch gearbox and the inspection of selected designed parts of this gearbox. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theory of automotive transmissions and analysis of already available double clutch gearboxes. The following is the conceptual design itself, which is based on the selected vehicle on which the transmission will be located and on driving resistances. Based on these default values, the gear graduation is selected, which affects the vehicle’s driving dynamics. With regard to the installation space, a conceptual arrangement of the gearbox is proposed. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on the basic design and calculations of individual functional components of the gearbox. The last part of the thesis is involved to the control of selected structural nodes using the finite element method in the ansys workbench software. The whole thesis describes the individual steps for the design of the basic concept of a double clutch gearbox and the design of their basic components.
Design of direct shift gearbox
Kocman, František ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the conceptual design of a dual clutch gearbox and with inspection of selected parts of this gearbox. The introductory part is devoted to their theoretical description and subsequent analysis of current dual clutch gearboxes. Then the work focuses on the conceptual design itself, which is based on the chosen vehicle. On the basis of these inputs, the gearbox gear ratios are chosen, which have impact on the economy of the vehicle operation. With respect to the installation area, its conceptual layout is then proposed. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the basic structural design and calculations of selected functional parts of the transmission. The last part of this thesis is devoted to the inspection of selected structural nodes using the finite element method. This whole thesis describes the individual steps of the basic conceptual design of the dual clutch gearbox and the design of their basic components.
