Stress - strain analysis of total hip replacement - type Santori
Huťka, Pavel ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
Submitted Diploma thesis deals with stress-strain analysis of deformation proximal end of femur with applied total hip joint endoprosthesis (replacement) – shortcut type. To identify deformation and tensity (stress) was used computational simulation by method of final elements. Have been created two computational models TEP- type Santori and type DePuy Proxima. Geometry model Santori was created on low level model geometry through the use of X-ray photograph. Principle of geometry model type DePuy Proxima was real Femoral stem endoprosthesis which was scanned on scanner ATOS. Geometry of both these replacements were set up in program Rhinoceros 4.0 and then execute in program CatiaV5R17. Data for geometry model of femur were gained from CT chains. Material model of femur have been crated in two variants. The first one looks at structure bone tissues and the second one were created by Gruen´s zones. Femoral Stem was weighted by static equivalent resultant force acting in hip joint. Computational model of system and self solution, including depiction results, was done by ANSYS Workbench 11.0 for four model variants.

Part of this work is a practical part, which presents a case of study of a pacient with this diagnosis. Methods: Every method used in this work comes from bachelor's study of physiotherapy at FTVS. Results: Fyziotherapy treatment provided improvement in almost every criteria of the clinical state of the pacient. Conclusion: Summary of the work Keywords: ankle joint, total ankle replacement, arthrodesis, osteoarthrosis, physiotherapy
Case Study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis the state after the implantation of total knee replacement on the right side
Hillayová, Daniela ; Hnátová, Iva (advisor) ; Hankovcová, Eva (referee)
Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis the state after the implantation of total knee replacement on the right side Summary: This work focuses on the case study of the patient with total knee replacement. It consists of two parts, a general part and a specialized part. General part comprises basic knowledge about the knee joint, total replacement, gonarthrosis and describes physiotherapeutic processes during the post-operative period. Specialized part, the main part of this bachelor thesis, constitutes the process of patient therapy after a total knee replacement on the right side and an evaluation of the therapy's effect. Key words: total replacement, knee joint, osteoarthrosis, gonarthrosis, case study, physiotherapy
Case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total hip replacement
Králová, Petra ; Martínek, Milan (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Author: Petra Králová Title: The case study of a physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total hip replacement Objectives: The objectives of this bachelor's thesis is to provide theoretical framework, to assess problematics of implantation of total hip arthroplasty and to introduce case study of a patient after total hip replacement and its subsequent rehabilitation care. Summary: The thesis is devided into two parts - general and specialized. General part provides conceptual framework and builds on existing literature of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the hip joint. It further informs about the most common diseases affecting the joint and analyzes problematics of total hip replacement for coxarthrosis. It serves as theoretical framework for second part. The specialized part contains a case study of a patient after total hip replacement and following rehabilitation care. During this case study, the author solely used noninvasive methods and approches, which had been acquired during bachelor's studies at The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. The conluding remarks of the bachelor's thesis include evaluation of the therapy results and effectivenes of each of the therapeutical approaches. Key words: hip joint, total endoprosthesis, osteoarthrosis, rehabilitation
The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total knee replacement diagnosis
Kovářík, Jan ; Stupková, Michaela (advisor) ; Slezáková, Petra (referee)
Title: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total knee replacement diagnosis Author: Jan Kovářík Head of the thesis: Mgr. Michaela Stupková Objectives: The main purpose of my bachelor thesis is to process a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after a total knee replacement of the right knee joint. Part of the thesis is a complex theoretical introduction to the topic. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into 2 parts- a general part and a special part. The general part contains processed information concerning the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the knee joint. It also includes a chapter about gonarthrosis, which is the most common indication for the total knee replacement, its etiopathogenesis and options of treatment. In the end the general part describes the total knee replacement, its history, operative procedures and subsequent rehabilitation. In the special part of the thesis there is a listed the case study of a specific patient after the total knee replacement and a record of the therapeutic units within the related professional practise in the rehabilitation hospital in Beroun in a period from 18. 1. to 12. 2. 2021. Results: Physiotherapeutic treatment has shown improvement in the patient's clinical condition in almost all measured...

Femoroacetabular impingement of players of table tennis
Obešlo, Marek ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Tolar, Jan (referee)
Introduction: Question of femoroacetabular impingement is very actual. This young concept brings mechanism which leads to early degenerative changes of the hip joint of young and active individuals (athletes). Objectives: To review influence of sport activity on condition of the hip joint of young athletes (players of table tennis) and to determine incidence of femoroacetabular impingement and its clinical significance. Methods: We performed ultrasound and clinical examination and questionnaire with 22 individuals from 2 training groups. Groups vary in age, height, weight, volume of sport activity and how long they do sports. We found out incidence of cam-type impingement and evaluated pain of anterior impingement test, ranges of motions of the hip joint and deep squat. Results: Cam impingement was found in 27 hip joints, 16 in older group, 11 in younger one. In older group there were 12 from 16 impingements painful during anterior impingement test, 4 from 11 in younger one. In older group there were 4 symptomatic individuals, none in younger one. Older group has lower ranges of motion of flexion and internal rotation. 4 individuals did not perform deep squat, all of them with bilateral cam-type impingement. Conclusion: Femoracetabular impingement is frequent among young athletes. It causes...
