The objective of this bachelor thesis is to create a management project of sports event which could serve to organizers and set up recommendations for organizers of sports event AUTHOR král Šumavy MTB. The aim is to analyse the event by means of SWOT analysis and create suggestions to improve the whole organization of this sports event for further tournaments. In conclusion I reviewed whether or not the objectives were achieved and summarized the most important results of the performed methods.

Title: Sport event management - Mystic skate cup Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze organization of Mystic skate cup. And alternatively suggest possible improvement for upcoming events. Methods: For analyzing whole event I firstly used the descriptive analysis and afterwards I apply the SWOT analysis, for which I gathered materials through personal interrogation and also interview with the director of the cup. Results: The work highlights the strong aspects of the event, which are good base and points out deficiencies, which could be improve for next seasons. Economy of sports events

This thesis deals with the topic of the economy of sports events. In The practical part describes three different sports events: Mácháčský pohodář, Jablonecký běh do pohody and Tygří skiatlon. On each of them is demonstrated one of the specific activities leading to the organization of medium-sized sports events (from 100 to 500 participants). The main goal is to reveal (in detail) the issue of the organization, financing and promotion of sports events and thus provide readers with guidance for future events of similar structure. The work is further discussed the issue how to organize the event with the aid of project management. The next task is to analyze and evaluate the economic impact of selected sports events to the region in which it is held. The result of this analysis was finally confirm the hypothesis that medium-sized sports events, in our case Mácháčský pohodář, have a relevant economic impact on the area in which they are organized.
