Mobile Application for Scheduling Activities at Summer Camps

The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application assisting in scheduling activities at summer camps taking into account the preferences of camp participants. This is done in a way that ensures the minimization of conflicts with respect to user-defined constraints. QR code scanning is used as an effective method of data input. The main process of finding an optimal solution is formalized as a graph colouring problem and is implemented using the branch and bound method. The created system does not require any other device for its functioning, all the necessary calculations are being executed on a mobile phone of the user. This system has significantly accelerated and simplified the process of scheduling activities at summer camps.

Operational analysis of the selected catering facility

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the operation of selected catering facility called Café Restaurant Mondi which is situated in Horní Počernice. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the theoretical part of the thesis catering services, their forms and different meanings are defined so as categorization, typology of catering facilities and material requirements of the operation. The principal part of the thesis is represented by the analysis of the operation of the selected catering facility according to given criteria such as: material and technical facilities of the establishment, personnel, suppliers, meals offered by the restaurant and marketing. It also includes analysing surroundings and the locality of the restaurant and analysing the competition. In conclusion, its competitive ability is evaluated using the methodology of SWOT analysis. After this evaluation, remedial action that should be taken by the establishment is proposed.

Operational analysis of catering establishment in Greece

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compose an operational analysis of a catering establishment in Greece including characteristics of the business, comparism to its competitors and menu analysis. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part consists of general definitions of terms in catering industry. The second part focuses on providing with information about Greece, greek and cretan cuisine. The third chapter includes information about Crete and locality of the catering establishment together with competition analysis. The fourth part deals with business characteristic, menu analysis and SWOT analysis. The last chapter suggests possible improvements into the future.

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to operationally analyse a particular hotel in Ceske Budejovice and to analyse the competitiveness in that area. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first part is introduced the needed theory with the important terms and in the second one is characterized the location of the hotel, its competitiveness and its division. Thanks to gained informations during the thesis is made the SWOT analysis, which can help to suggest some ideas for improvement of weaknesses and prevention of threats.

Operational analysis of a chosen accommodation facility

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the operation of a middle-sized luxurious hotel in Prague with a focus on the organization and quality of the provided services. The thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part all the major terms related to the operation of an accommodation facility and the system of its functioning are explained. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the main competitors in the neighborhood and the detailed description of the organizational structure of the selected hotel and its departments. On the basis of the SWOT analysis some recommendations how to improve the current situation were put forward.
