Slovak prose in German translation and its reception after 1968

The main topic of this MA thesis is a literary critical reflection of Slovak prose in German translations after 1968. The thesis focuses on cultural-literary reflections of Slovak prose in German linguistic context. The author analyses the reviews from German and Austrian linguistic area, while pointing out the differences in literary works in different (though close) linguistic contexts. The theoretical background of the thesis lies in imaginological theories and the author characterizes four basic perspectives of reading Slovak literature based on them. Her aim is to formulate an objective and complex image of the literary critical opinion on Slovak literature in the aforementioned areas. The bachelor diploma thesis Media reception of the Czech Lion 2015 - from nomination process to the announcement of the winners occupies with reporting of the chosen Czech media outlets on the annual awards ceremony hosted by the Czech Film and Television Academy. The first part is focused on the history of the awards, especially on the Czech Lion 2014. There is mentioned the instant reception in the Czech daily press and the reporting on the two subsequent affairs. In the theoretical part there is a comparison of the terms "review" and "criticism" and there is also briefly mentioned the characterization of the methods of analysis based on the reference books. In the main part the quantitative analysis was used to explore the frequency of the reception in the media outlets and also the variability of the media regarding the number of editors who had been concerned with this topic. The author also examined how had been the coverage in the printed press and on the news websites connected. With using the qualitative analysis he examined how negative or positive had the reactions of the editors been regarding the general concept of the Czech Lion Awards, the ceremonial or the potential affairs. The Media Response to the Writers Convention 2015

This master's thesis deals with the media response to the Writers Convention that took place on 5 and 6 June 2015 in Prague. This convention was the first meeting of that name in the post-communist era. By naming it such, the organizers claimed a clear succession to conventions that happened before the year 1989 - especially to those in 1956 and 1967, which became important turning points not only culturally, but also politically. The 2015 Convention was organized by Writers Association - a professional organization established in November 2014. One of the reasons why it was founded was the conviction that the organisation named Writers Union, existing from 1989, is not functional anymore and does not sufficiently represent authors' interests. The first two chapters inquiry into the history of both of these organizations with the aim to identify problematic aspects in their operations. Through their media reflection, the history, activities and themes with which they deal are introduced. The aim is to show the broader issue of official writers associations as well as the relevance of the Writers Association as an organization representing the literary public. On-line marketing applications in the construction industry

In this diploma thesis, I first theoretically dealt with marketing, marketing services and the most used terms of internet marketing. Furthermore, the process of formation and use of corporate budgeting and business development opportunities, which included analysis of the marketing environment, evaluating existing activities and determining their values, goals and values, and an action plan. In the second part I applied it all to the REAL SPEKTRUM, a.s. including selected analysis and evaluation of existing activities, setting goals and designing actions plans.
