The first mention of village Studená dates from 1356, yet this area was populated earlier, specifically since the 10th century. Its greatest development village underwent before the World War II., when there was the greatest number of inhabitants and various companies were established. The work is dedicated to the life in the Studená during the Second World War; however it is mainly focused on the beginning and the end of the war, when the inhabitants were most affected by the acts of war. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of tax and levy obligations of employees, self-employed persons and partners of limited company to the state budget. It puts emphasis on the field of social insurance in relation to the analysis of pensions systems and determination of the amount of old age pension in the Slovak and Czech Republic. Own work consists in making model examples that serve to compare mandatory levies and old age pension paid in the future. Based on results achieved, there are suggested recommendations for the social security system, which lead to reduction of the differences between employees and entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic.

Payroll System with Remuneration and Analysis of Wages in the Prison Servise of the Czech republik

The thesis deals with the form of employment and remuneration of persons in prison and employees of the prison service. In the theoretical part of the study examines the position of the prison service in the public sector and the expenditure of the approved budget, drawing on the salary of employees and prisoners. Another important point are conditions of employment and remuneration of prisoners. It is further explained, a sample payroll posting their billing and related regulations. In the practical part are examples of calculating the wages of the prisoners listed for the performance of the work and the staff in the staff and employment. Also includes a procedure of allocation of remuneration of imprisoned person and of the employees.
Employee and self-employed – situation in Czech Republic

This thesis compares employee with self-employed person. These entities are contrasted both in general as well as using concrete calculations. Part of the thesis discusses the subject from the employer's perspective. Last chapter compares tax system of Czech republic and France.
Casinos and gaming halls - impact on economics and society

The Czech Republic is considered to be a country with unnecessarily big amount of casinos and gaming halls. It is examined in this work if it is a reality compared with other European countries, especially with countries having a similar historical development as the Czech Republic have had. In connection with all that the research was intent on investigation if the valid lottery law is a cause of the situation. That is why the Czech lottery law was in comparison with some of countries of the world. Further-more the research finds out what benefits the developed gaming market brings to the economy and what negatives the gaming has. Additionally there are some measures suggested which should keep up economic benefits and lead to a restriction of negatives accompanying a development of gaming.
