Care of archaeological immovable and movable heritage in the landscape of the Czech Republic threatened by logging: A monumental procedure

The monument procedure in a structured form records data obtained through research from the area of interest of the NAKI II project "Landscape memory of the Moravian and Silesian Sudetes in danger" (DG20P02OVV008). The monument procedure is categorized on the basis of the analysis of negative impacts in the care of movable and immovable archaeological heritage in the landscape of the Czech Republic, which are disturbed by logging.

Survey works in the selected cadastral territory as the basis for land consolidation projects

This thesis is focused on exploration work which can be used as a source for a land consolidation and the thesis is performed in accordance with the applicable methodology. The field research is made within the cadestral area Černovice, Pelhřimov district. The first part of the thesis deals with the literary research. The land consolidation, proceedings on land consolidation, detailed field research and its evalution and plan of common equipment are described in this part. The second part contains a description and evaluation of individual concepts within the selected area. The aim of this work was the elaboration and evaluation of a field survey in a selected area of interest according to the valid methodical instructions of landscaping. Get all information and, if necessary, propose measures to improve the state of the landscape and the environment.
Selected issues of nature and landscape protection in Czech law (The mining towers in Microregion Frenstatsko's case)

This diploma thesis deals with a historical development of the nature preservation. Then it shifts its focus to various commitments emerging from the international as well as EU laws. At the international level, the work individually describes several international contracts related to the preservation of natural ecosystems. Within the scope of the European law, the thesis focuses on the realization of the nature preservation, using the system called Natura 2000 and its factual implementation into the Czech law. The text also examines the nature preservation and its impacts in the constitution of the Czech Republic. After a brief introduction to the law no. 114/1992 Coll., on the preservation of nature and landscape, the work in detail analyzes individual categories of general and specific territorial preservation. Finally, the thesis examines the case study on the mining towers in the micro-region Frenštátsko in the context of several questions related to the preservation of nature and landscape.

In this research, author chose the region of the Křivoklatsko protected landscape area. Other aspect this thesis is detection of attandance evolution in confrontation with the proposed Křivoklátsko national park. The protection of landscape in the law This thesis deals with the legal protection of landscape, focusing on its general protection, i.e., the protection of the landscape outside built-up areas excluding its special protected parts. The main aim of the submitted thesis is to present the basic overview on legal institutes that are provided by the substantial law in force for general landscape protection and, moreover, to describe the most significant ones in detail. The thesis is divided into three chapters, each of them devoted to the study of various aspects of the issue under investigation. In the introductory chapter, general grounds of the landscape protection are described. It is subdivided into three parts. The first part attempts to give a precise meaning to the term "landscape". Further, the historical development of legal landscape protection is outlined in the second part. Finally, the third part deals with the significance of landscape, factors affected its current state, and reasons for its protection. Chapter Two focuses on the substantive law on the international level. The thesis deals with the issue of landscape protection, management and planning in the context of the European Landscape Convention. It solves the current state of cultural landscape and defines the basic principles of landscape care and possibilities of its development optimization. The work performs landscape analysis of the model area Březina verified by field research. The thesis focuses on the assessment of the landscape and on the basis of the analyzes it describes its natural, cultural and aesthetic values. The thesis works with valid territorial planning documents and their confrontation with the affected municipal authorities or persons. The design study is based on defining selected problems in the area. According to the landscape character and the results of the study, guidelines for countries of similar type are recommended.

The aim of the thesis is to propose a methodical approach that would include aspects of visual landscape assessment, emphasis on historical and perceptual values of the area and was applicable in the EIA process. The aim is the applicability of the proposed methodology in the assessment of new projects by the management of heritage care, especially in the process of environmental impact assessment (where the management of heritage care is concerned by the state administration body concerned), but also in other proceedings. The procedure should not replace subjective assessment or landscape survey, but create objective evidence for the decision and serve to negotiate between the investor and the state administration bodies concerned. The procedure should use geographic information systems, including current data bases and functionalities.

The new national typology of the historical cultural landscapes is created by 34 types of the historical cultural landscapes that exist in the Czech Republic. The typology is based on three categories of the cultural landscapes that were defined by the World Heritage Committee (UNESCO), i.e. designed, organically evolved and associative landscapes. The typology of the historical cultural landscapes could be used for identification, classification and evaluation of the historical cultural landscapes on the national level. The typology is applicable for the spatial identification of landscape with important cultural values that serve to the public interests in landscape protection. The typology could be also used for identification of the cultural landscapes in analysis for the spatial planning.

This thesis is focused on exploration work which can be used as a source for a land consolidation. The field research is made within the cadastral area Zborov, České Budějovice district. The first part of this thesis deals with the literary research. The land consolidation, plan of common equipment, detailed field research and its evaluation are also described in the first part. The individual terms within the chosen area are described in the second part of this thesis. The first aim of this thesis was to elaborate and evaluate the field research according to valid methodical instruction of the land consolidation. The second aim was to get all information about the current condition of the landscape and farming in the landscape. And finally to profound the arrangement which can improve the whole condition of the landscape and environment.
Protecting landscape with significant cultural and historical values - Natural park Horní Střela

This bachelor thesis deals with the protection of landscape with significant cultural and historical values on the specific case of the natural park Horní Střela. It aims to identify culturally historical phenomena in the landscape. It uses old maps and aerial photos to compare with the current state. It also takes into account the territorial planning documentation of the respective municipalities and regions. The introduction is devoted to the goals and hypotheses of work. The following are the theoretical chapters where individual concepts are explained on the basis of literature and methodology is set. The next part is devoted to the introduction of a particular monitored area. The main chapter deals with identified phenomena. There are presented threats and risks as well as positives and opportunities for the nature park. The conclusion reflects the results and evaluates the hypotheses. The thesis includes map, tabular and photographic supplements that were created during the field survey.
