The subject of this bachelor thesis is a new building solution of a multifunctional house founded on the edge of „the Old“ Líšeň in Brno as a follow up to a panel development of the residential buildings from the 80’s years of the last century (so called „the New“ Líšeň). The design is based on the position on undeveloped steep slope overgrown by green vegetation, on the form of the surrounding buildings and also on needs for the creation of family housing as well as the needs of residents of the particular district. The suggested object includes two different units – the solution of eight flats, including one accessible flat with housing equipment and space for services – café and fitness centre. The multifunctional house consists of two above-grounf floors, basement and of the flat roof. It is located in the northern part of the slope, where is the best available from the traffic and besides provides a remarkable view on the city. The object creates a symetrical compact matter, which with each ground floor stands back, so that the spacious terraces could be established. The dominant of the project is a covered passage, which intersect the matter in the axis, so it takes a shortcut through the building. The place serves as a hotel-based, relaxing space constituted by fast-food stands and playground. The southern part of the covered passage continues in a hotel-based stairway allowing undisturbed recreation. The intention of the project is a formation of a compact unit, which separates the two operations, so that the layout of communication remains and the best orientation to all cardinal points is enabled. In the basement is situated the café with an outside terrace and fitness centre, both with the entrance from the southern side. In the other above-ground floor are to be found dwelling units accessible from the north on the covered exterior stairways. For the structural system is utilized the modular system Intecon, which consists of steel frames enabling a

The object of this bachelor thesis is new building solution of a multifunctional house founded on the corner of the streets Táborská and Letní in the district Židenice of city Brno. The design is based on using a vacant lot, urban regulations, the needs for creation of student housing and the needs of residents of the particular district. The form of the object is designed in a way which abides the mass structure of the territory and also the spatial plan of city of Brno. The main aim was to use the vacant lot in the best way possible. The suggested object is divided in two functional units which this particular locality lacked and are based on structural possibilities. The public unit situated on the outer part of the object has the form of fully glazed facade, whereas the part intended for housing can be identified for the use of company Intecon galvanized copper plated trapezodial steel sheet residential containers. The area of the first floor parterre is lowered by one meter below the ground level because of a sports center with a bouldering wall. Other overground storeys consisting of residential containers operate as a place for sudent housing. Individual apartments are formed by the combination of two student rooms. The kitchen and dining room are located in the common areas on each floor of the building. The idea of materially spatial resolution is based on rotation of the cuboid residential containers by ninety degrees which allows them to fit together in a way that creates an atrium in the middle. The atrium and the sports areas are therefore lit by the accomodation areas.

Bachelor’s thesis deals with technical drawings of Multifunctional building in Brno. The aim is to design an apartment building consisting of residential apartments in the sloping area between two streets - Novolíšeňská and Josefy Faimonové in Brno - Líšeň. The proposal follows the contours of the slope and its floors are terraced beneath each other. On the top of the slope from Novolíšeňská street there is proposed a garage and a bakery with café. These two buildings would be unified with a facade made of the expanded metal sheets (with a climbing greenery), which eliminates the harmful effects from a neighboring road. In the terraces, there would be situated residential containers, which would lie on the reinforced slabs and the gabion walls (behind the walls there is proposed a storage space). The complex would consist of two volumes with the residential containers. Between the volumes, there is designed a space with the exterior residential steps. The 3 types of flats were designed: one-bedroom flat, two-bedroom flat and three-bedroom flat.
