The content of this bachelor study is the technical recherche in the usage of the re-newable resources of energy in the Czech Republic with a view to the wind energetics. The study contents basic characteristic and disputableness of each type of energy resources, potential of the Czech Republic in exploitation of wind energy, description of chosen types of wind power plant and integration of wind energy into Transmission System of the Czech Republic.
Renewable energy sources and their influence on the development of the region in the Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on renewable sources of energy. The main objective is to demonstrate how their use affects the individual regions. The sources explored in the thesis include the power of the sun, water, wind and other. All of the resources are specified in terms of their operation, their history and their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the thesis also focuses on the devices that are most frequently used for each source to generate electricity. The concluding section sets out certain regions of the Czech Republic and on the basis of their results, it proposes recommendations, which sources should be supported the most within the regional politics. The data for each region are collected through official statistics and interviews with employees working for E.ON Energy, a.s. The overall results, which are presented in tables, are obtained by basic statistical analyses.
The Nuclear Power Phase-out of Germany in 2011

This bachelor thesis deals with the nuclear phase-out of Germany in 2011. The main objective of this thesis is to clarify what is the rationale behind this phase-out and whether it was a purely political concession or if there were some other reasons why to do so. It also contemplates possible aftermaths for Germany, caused by this phase-out. Another part deals with possible consequences for Czech Republic, especially for its energy sector. In the first part the attention is devoted to a historical usage of nuclear power in Germany, then the thesis deals with the period around Fukushima's disaster and its impact on German society and politics. The following part attends to clarify the perspectives of German energy phase-out- wise and special attention is given to possibilities of the future development. In the last part the most important outcomes for Czech Republic are being discussed.
Hydrogen as an energy source

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to describe the essence of hydrogen energy, options and methods of its obtaining, the pros and cons of the main technological solutions of hydrogen energy, based on the summary of the physical and chemical hydrogen properties. Besides that, the thesis is also dedicated to an overview of the production methods, storage and transportation, and also the hydrogen usage as an energy carrier and a potential resource for future energy storage. Though retrievals of technology solutions available nowadays, as well ones seem perspective for the future, considering the economic aspects of hydrogen energy, the thesis attempts to answer the question of whether we can actually rely on hydrogen energy, as on a certain way of fulfilling energy needs of mankind in the near future.

Možnosti využití alternativních zdrojů energie jako prostředku snížení energetické závislosti EU a ČR

Práce se zabývá problematikou alternativních zdrojů energie, jejich potenciály a možnostmi přispění k řešení energetické závislosti EU a ČR. V první části uvádí energetické zdroje a dovozní závislost EU i ČR. V druhé části se zaměřuje na obecné definice alternativních zdrojů, stav jejich využití, budoucí potenciál a způsoby podpory v obou útvarech. Ve třetí části se zaměřuje konkrétněji na energii větru a její výhledy.
