Evaluation of Economy of a Selected Non Profit Organization

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the evaluation of economy of a selected non-profit organization, Azylový dům pro ženy a matky s dětmi o.p.s. At the beginning of the thesis there are determined the goals, applied methodical approaches and processing procedures. The next part includes theoretical approaches required for the processing of the analytical part. The analytical part contains the analysis of costs and revenue and selected indicators of modified financial analysis. Based on the performer analysis I followed the evaluation of organization´s economy. Due to this evaluation, there are based new solutions.

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the evaluation of the development of the economic and fundraising activities of a selected non-governmental non-profit organization, the general benefit company People in Need. At the beginning, the goals of the work and the methods used to achieve them are defined. The following part includes the theoretical starting points needed for processing the analytical part. On the basis of the data from the outputs of the analyzes carried out, a summary evaluation of the development of economic and fundraising activities follows, from which proposals for solving new possibilities of obtaining funds needed to ensure the operation of the main activity of this organization are derived.

This dissertation is focused on the impacts of new legal regulations concerning non-profit making organizations on citizen associations. The introductory part gives the old and the new legal regulations of non-profit making organizations. The next chapter describes the transformation method of citizen associations(now societies) to other legal forms. This is followed by the suggestion of criteria when the organizations decide on the change of legal form a part of which is a case study showing the differences in taxation of individual legal forms. The final part describes results of research of transparency of non-profit making sector. Discussion contains recommendations how to solve the problems connected with the new legal regulation.

Community interest society

Grounds for the topic of my thesis are connected with approved Amendment Act of Community Interest Societies. The aim of the work is to explain reasons that made the legislation power approve the amendment (mentioned above), specification of the most essential features of legal entities of a non-profit sphere, and usage of comparative levelling of the original statutory text with the actual legal regulations. The thesis is devided into 8 chapters and results from the basic characteristics of legal entities of the non-profit sphere in relation to a short discursion respecting their historical evolution. Attention is paid to general definition signs of these legal entities. The work focuses on legal status a Community Interest Society in the context of the Czech Legal Order. Great attention is paid to the Amendment Act of a Community Interest Society, especially with respect to the newly constructed conception in the area of authorities status of Community Interest Society and alignment of their acticity. The thesis deals with procedural process during foundation and liquidation of that kind of non-governmental organization and activities that are typical of the Community Interest Society. Community interest society

v anglickém jazyce This rigorous thesis is dealing with the Community Interest Society. In the first chapter, the legal persons are generally described. Their history, structure, definition and terms are described. The following part evaluates generally the Community Interest Society as a legal person and puts it into the legal system. The second chapter deals with the legal regulation of the Community Interest Society within the Czech legal system. The third chapter deals with origin and founding of the Community Interest Society, the fourth chapter deals with its dissolving, liquidation and decline. The fifth chapter deals witch obligatory authorities like director, board of directors, and supervisory board. The sixth chapter deals with the new legal code which will be legally forced on 1st January 2014 and its influences on the Community Interest Society. In the seventh chapter the economy and activities of the Community Interest Society are discussed. In the last but one chapter there is a survey into foreign legal regulation of the Community Interest Society and specifically the Slovak legal regulation are described. The last chapter briefly informs about transformation of the legal assembly into a Community Interest Society. This thesis is finished by the conclusion.

Nonprofit sector entities in the social sphere

This thesis is devoted to the nonprofit sector entities in the social sphere, which are an important tool that is used primarily for removing social exclusion in society. Social services help clients ensure the physical and mental independence so that they can participate in the daily life of society as much as possible. The aim of my thesis was to analyze the activities of selected nonprofit sector entities in the social sector, focusing on management and economics. These entities were then compared. It was concluded that all companies are the largest source of funding grants, and all companies also form long-term strategic plan of the company. The two organizations use volunteer work. And further that the future development of nonprofit organizations in social services is positive and the number is growing. It is primarily due to the aging population.
