The bachelor's thesis is focused on comparing of the procedures of the management of apartment buildings in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It describes the differences between the administrator and the community of owners of residential and non-residential premises and the different administration procedures in these two countries. In the last part of the work, there is a comparison of a specific apartment building in its original state and after complete modernization of the interior and exterior of this apartment building.

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan focused on the rent of the house which might be built in Ostrava-Vitkovice. It analyses 2 renting possibilities-flats for senior residents or rooms for tourists. The aim of the work is to find out if it makes sense to built that house. The work compares both renting options and evaluate the most viable and effective one. In the introduction there are described methodics which are used and discussed subsequently in the practical part. In the final part there is an evaluation and conclusion of the project. The answer for the final question can be found there as well.

CHANGE OF LEGAL POSITION OF PARTIES TO AGREEMENTS ON LEASE OF NON-RESIDENTIAL PREMISES IN RELATION TO ACT NO. 89/2012 COLL. BECOMING EFFECTIVE Summary: The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the legal consequence of the Act. No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (the "Civil Code"), coming into effectiveness in the Czech Republic on 1 January 2014, with regards to lease agreements on lease of non-residential premises (re-defined by the Civil Code as premises for business purposes). The reason for this analysis is the fact that, as a result of the Civil Code becoming effective, all the lease relationships, including lease relationships under lease agreement concluded prior to 1 January 2014 shall be governed by the Civil Code. Given that the introduction of the Civil Code represents full recodification of the civil law in the Czech Republic, the related changes concerning the lease agreements on lease of premises for business purposes are of significant character. Accordingly, the thesis is mainly addressed to the parties to the existing lease agreements on premises for business purposes concluded on 31 December 2013 or earlier, even though it may be found of use for other addressees as well. Analysis of the real estate market in Prague

This bachelor thesis analyzes the real estate market in Prague. The aim of the thesis is to ascertain the current status of the market, how the economic crisis affected market prices, and what developments can be expected in the future. To determine what changes can be expected in the future, we must do an estimate of market development. To estimate market development, a price comparison of different types of properties needs to be done to show the change during the crisis. Subsequently, analyzing the current state of the market will determine whether the market has fully recovered from the crisis and if it is yet prosperous
