Mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching in elementary and secondary education

The primary aim of the thesis concerning mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching at school is to describe the current status of ICT at school from two perspectives: From the management perspective as well as from the perspective of school education. Further, to look through the state policy in education, Annual report of the Czech School Inspectorate statistics CSO and professional literature in this area at the current state of technology introduction at present-day schools. To capture the view of Experts on the new trends that penetrate to us from abroad. To gather by means of quantitative research of the randomly selected sample of respondents what are the possibilities and benefits of technology and knowledge of new trends in our conditions (BYOT). To verify by means of research how this issue is perceived and accepted by current teachers and leaders at schools in the Prague region and in several other regions of the Czech Republic. The conclusion tries to summarize and on the basis of the research results to show needs, opportunities and benefits of mobile technology for the school and its clients. A Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) for a Manager's Work

The goal of this work is to determine what role play PDA for manager, how managers typically use the PDA and how it can facilitate the daily operations. The work includes comparison of the financial (purchase and additional investment) and technological performance with the currently available technologies from the field related equipment for personal use - a notebook, mobile phone, etc. and the possibilities how can PDA significantly facilitate the manager's daily communication with the whole world. The result of the practical part is a program for PDA emulation in the Windows operating system for desktop computers as well as an overview of the technical parameters, including the financial performance of the purchase of PDA in the context of other IT technologies.
Categorization of notebooks in present information systems

This bachelor work focuses especially on categorization of notebooks in ICT of present IS. It extends and fills in my previous semestral work called "Notebooks", that I was working on in course Technical means and infrastructure of IS. The work is divided into two main sections -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical section devotes to the description of present types of computers and categorization of notebooks in ICT, their use, contributions, limitations, energy management and synchronization. Practical section deals with evaluation of public questionnaire on topic "Selection of notebook" and subsequently deals with selection of appropriate notebook on the basis of results of this public questionnaire.
