Kristýna Plevová Title: Physiotherapy intervention in patients with neck pain Subtitle: Sensorimotor stimulation and cervical spine stabilization exercises Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with physiotherapy in patients with cervical pain. This problem is quite common nowadays, it ranks as the fourth most common health problem overall. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the cervical spine, the description and classification of pain in this area and the treatment procedure with a focus on physiotherapy. Furthermore, the concepts of stability and posture are explained. An important part of the thesis is the description of the chosen methods and their use in various studies. In the empirical part, it was necessary to describe the methodological procedures, especially the chosen tests, on the basis of which I evaluated the results of the therapies: the NRS, the NDI, the muscle strength of neck flexion, the Postural Stability Assessment, tests for postural stability (trunk flexion test, diaphragmatic test). Abstract: The bachelor thesis focuses on the description of tools that can be used to assess chronic neck pain. The practical part deals with influencing these difficulties with the help of relaxation techniques. The theoretical part provides basic information about pain and its distribution, describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the cervical spine and provides a brief overview and description of assessment tools divided into simple and multidimensional. Multidimensional tools were divided into questionnaires designed specifically for the cervical spine, questionnaires that can also be used to assess the pain and disability associated with this area, and questionnaires evaluating the psychosocial factors of chronic pain. Vertigo Abstract: The topic of this Bachelor's thesis is physiotherapy in patients with cervico-cranial vegetative symptomatology, specifically focusing on vertigo. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part briefly describes the basic anatomical structures associated with the cervical spine area, cervico-cranial syndrome and vertigo. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis was to describe the relevant terminology and to promote general awareness regarding the issue. The practical part consists of three cases. Selected patients were diagnosed with cervico- cranial syndrome and vertigo. Data was collected in outpatients' department of neurology, chiropraxy and acupuncture in Neratovice. Each patient underwent a total of five therapeutic sessions. The scope of the therapy included home exercise and relaxation procedures. Evaluation of the effect of physiotherapeutic approaches in painful conditions of the cervical spine

Title Evaluation of the effect of physiotherapeutic approaches in painful conditions of the cervical spine. Objectives The aim of this thesis is to find out, which physiotherapy methods and techniques are used for pain of cervical spine, and to evaluate their effect. The study also aims to summarize current knowledge on this issue. Methods The thesis is processed through the method of literature review and is of analytical and descriptive nature. The used studies meet all pre-determined criteria. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part, general information, describes mainly the physiotherapy methods and techniques that are used for treatment of pain in cervical spine. The second part, results, summarizes these physiotherapy approaches and evaluates their effect. The study concludes with a discussion that is focused on the two main questions of the thesis. Results A total of 25 studies met the criteria for inclusion in this thesis. These studies show that the physiotherapy methods and techniques currently used in painful conditions of cervical spine, include: mobilization and manipulation of cervical, possibly thoracic spine, therapeutic exercise, massage, McKenzie therapy, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, conservative interventions, and educational and physical programs....

Title Case report physiotherapy care for a patient with a diagnosis of whiplash injury. Objective The aim of my thesis is to gain theoretical knowledge of whiplash injury, related relationships in the cervical spine and physiotherapeutic approaches used in this diagnosis. In the special part was the aim of producing case studies of selected patient with a diagnosis of whiplash injury during my month work placements in the Regional Hospital Kladno, as Summary The general part of the thesis contains theoretical knowledge of kinesiology cervical spine of injury, soft tissue status and therapeutic approach for whiplash injury.
