In an Apartment in a small town, Mikulov
Solár, Michal ; Kozelský, Tomáš (referee) ; Hora, Jan (advisor)
The concept is based on the historical development of the plot and the city as such. Historically, the area has been defined by self-help and without clearly specified dogmatic guidelines. It is thanks to this that the city is enriched with moments that do not fulfill only the aesthetic or spiritual, but also the functional nature of the city. The moment of surprise and certain visas enriches the interior of the yard as well as the city. At first glance, such annoying spaces have a certain quality, caused by the play of light or the overall concept of space. An important feature of the object is the moment of surprise from the perceived space. The transition from a clearly defined ground floor to the rear, at first glance, irrational courtyard is enhanced by a passage, which also refers to the typical division of the small town house. ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION The principle of layering of individual spaces clearly reflects the moments of surprise. By specific fragmentation of the building, a character that resembles rather a family house as a residential object, spaces of different quality and utilization are created. The lower dwellings have a spatially and optically separated garden from the total mass, with the top terrace being terraces which are optically linked to the courtyard, but are not accessible to the public. The apartments in the attic have mostly urban character. This creates the principle of co-existence, which is typical of the whole area of the city. The layering is evident in the distribution of flats with different connections to gardens and terraces as well as the variety of housing units. The spirit of the place is a standing cellar that reflects the historical transformation of the parcel and is a symbol of the locality.
Vision for SVIT
Zemánková, Jasna ; Daniel,, Peter (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The SVIT tannery complex in Velké Meziříčí was demolished in 2008. Since then the area that is next to the Balinka river and close to the historic city center has no use. The thesis analyses the characteristics of the place, solves the connection to the surroundings, defines possible functional use and describes the vision for the complex. The aim of the thesis is to propose one of the buildings (library) in the complex in detail. The work could be used as a topic for a public discussion about the development of the territory for the inhabitants and municipal council of Velké Meziříčí.

The author aims to create a modern bus station in Hranice na Moravě. He works with the object like a statue. Using modern software, he models the mass of the object as in modeling with sculptural clay.
The Optimal Accuracy of Measurement Assurance in Accordance with Metrological Confirmation
Frank, Petr ; Kocman, Karel (referee) ; Nenadál, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hruška, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of accuracy of measurement and achieving the required accuracy level. This includes global analysis of the uncertainty evaluation, the calibration interval design and the creation of confirmation system. Basis of this work is in identification of all possible problems, which may occur during evaluation of accuracy and achieving the required accuracy level. The analysis is followed by suggested solutions for identified problems. It means namely the selection of probability distribution in case of uncertainty type A, evaluation of degrees of freedom in case of uncertainty type B, nonlinear correlation of input values, evaluation of coverage factor, the choice of method for calibration interval design and the procedure for meeting all metrological confirmation requirements. The last part of the thesis is practical measurement and result evaluation in the field of surge protection devices. This chapter demonstrates conclusions from the syntactical part.
Vision for Kotovo
Podešvová, Klára ; Navrátil, Václav (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The service building Kotovo, built between 1970s and 1980s of the previous century, is situated to the south from the city center of Vsetin, in the city part Rokytnice. The building stands at the beginning of the housing estate tight-close to tower blocks. Two floored object in a U form consists of three standalone blocks, that is A, B and C part. Nowadays, Kotovo is used for a variety of services and markets, such as grocery shops, dentist office, post office or children’s library. The city of Vsetin is fully aware of the state of Kotovo and plans to reconstruct the building. First part of the diploma thesis analyses specifics of this space, deals with connecting the object to its surroundings, defines its possible functioning utilization, and above all it finds meaningful vision for the future reconstructions. The goal of the diploma thesis is to tie in to the areas draft potential, make and architectural concept for the whole area and then design one of the buildings. The thesis should work as a vision and the foundation document for the future reconstruction.
Calibration rutines of the standard Datron 4920
Schinneck, Jakub ; Bednář, Pavel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This master’s deals with the calibration routines of the alternating voltage measurement standard Datron 4920. The first part introduces the basic terminology of metrology, its history and organizations specializing in metrology. The thesis describes the alternating voltage at the highest metrological level through AC/DC difference. The theoretical part also describes the alternating voltage measurement standard Datron 4920 and its measurement functions together with the calibration routines. The main aim of thesis is to create the calibration procedures AVMS Datron 4920. Based on the created calibration procedures, a flowchart of application for calibration routines is designed. The practical part then continues with programming application for calibrating AVMS Datron 4920 based on the created flowchart. In conclusion, the application is tested at selected points of measurement and an analysis of measurement uncertainties is carried out.

Lelková, Tereza ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Kodymová, Pavla (referee)
Key words: Disability, mental retardation, social services, comprehensiveness, continuity, availability. Abstract (in English): The aim of the diploma thesis is to map the needs of persons with disabilities with a focus on persons with mental retardation from birth until the end of their life and also quantity, diversity and quality of social services with emphasis on continuity and comprehensiveness in the former district town of Rychnov nad Kneznou. In this thesis, I will focus on the challenges and needs of families in which a child with disabilities was born and the amount of support and care that the child received in the past and gets in the present. Also, I point out the difficulties associated with the availability of social services for people with disabilities and their families in a village located 20 km from the district town or regional town. In the practical part, I perform empirical investigation of families with children with disabilities where some of them will come from the district town and the surrounding area and some of them from more isolated parts of Rychnov region.
