Analysis of communication history of Facebook software

Thesis aims at examining of local data piles, finding the correct data and their evaluation, followed by creation of application that is used for automatic search and proper display of that data.

Návrh nástrojů na podporu zvýšení materiálového využití odpadů

Tato studie navazuje na studii provedenou v roce 2003, tzv. realizační program "Návrh nástrojů na podporu materiálového využití odpadů I." V rámci této první fáze byl proveden souhrn všech relevantních nástrojů týkajících se odpadového hospodářství, každý nástroj byl standardizovaně popsán podle následujících kritérií: legislativní základ, odpovědný orgán pro implementaci nástroje, popis nástroje, environmentální účinnost nástroje, stimulativnost nástroje, ekonomický dopad, mezinárodní kompatibilita, náklady na zavedení nástroje a jeho správu, sledování nástroje z hlediska účinnosti a závěrečná doporučení autorů k jednotlivým nástrojům z hlediska jejich významu pro předmět řešení. V rámci druhé fáze realizačního programu byly analyzovány nástroje navržené v rámci provedených realizačních programů na konkrétní odpadové toky. Z analýzy těchto nástrojů byl proveden souhrn a v komparaci s výsledky první etapy a jednotlivých SWOT analýz vybrány nejdůležitější nástroje, z kterých byly navrženy nástrojové varianty, které by měly sloužit zejména jako podklad pro další realizační programy při volbě vhodných nástrojů. Studie obsahuje také strategii, která vymezuje dlouhodobé cíle, které by měly být sledovány, dále obsahuje i návrh pilotních projektů pro ověření zmíněné strategie, návrh indikátorů pro sledování jednotlivých nástrojů a některé příklady používání nástrojů.

Studie přináší přehled a analytický popis současných ekonomických, administrativních a ostatních nástrojů relevantních k podpoře zvýšení materiálového využití odpadů. Nástroje jsou standardizovaně popsány podle kritérií: legislativní základ, odpovědný orgán pro implementaci nástroje, popis nástroje, environmentální účinnost nástroje, stimulativní nástroje, ekonomický dopad, mezinárodní kompatibilita, náklady na zavedení nástroje a jeho správu, sledování nástroje z hlediska účinnosti a závěrečná doporučení autorů k jednotlivým nástrojům z hlediska jejich významu pro předmět řešení. Studie obsahuje SWOT analýzu hodnotící problematiku a doporučení pro další postup při ověřování účinnosti nástrojů.

Active employment policy in Prague East district in the years 2000 – 2010

This thesis studies the question of the efficiency of Active Employment Policy (AEP) in Prague -- East district. Spending on social policy increases there strongly; however as shows this thesis, the labour market situation hasn't been improving in some of the labour indicators since the year 2000. Analysis utilizes statistics of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs together with the data provided by the district labour office Prague -- East. The AEP efficiency analysis is performed by a simple comparisons and ratings of particular instruments, expenses associated with them, and eventually using the regression model. Conclusions about AEP are based on the knowledge and context obtained from the socio-economic analysis that focused primarily on the labour market, which enable us to more accurate targeting tools for risk groups in the region Prague -- East district. The work also contributes to the discussion about social insurance alternatives currently provided by state, but the main aim is to provide recommendations for the regional employment office, which instrument and how much money spent is the most effective AEP tool in the fight against unemployment. The results confirm the relationship between expenditures on active employment policy and unemployment, and also confirmed the fact that the effects are diverse. These effects of AEP expenditures are affected by concept of time (lagged vs. current) and by particular AEP tool. As the most effective investment of resources (AEP tool) in the Prague -- East district labour office appears to be support for retraining, which positively affects the unemployment rate in normal and delayed period.

Project management tools – analysis and application into practice

The main goal of the theses is the analysis and selection of open-source, web-based project management tools for support of project management. The theoretical chapter focuses on basic project management definitions and functions. The methodological chapter briefly describes multi-criteria decision-making and other methods used in the practical section. The practical chapter includes a short summary of the IQUAP Czech Republic, Ltd. Company, then research on available project management tools, two round multi-criteria evaluation of the selected tools, selection and pilot testing of the final tool TeamLab, evaluation of the pilot testing by using questionnaires. The main benefit of the theses is the analysis and evaluation of the project management tools in relation to the utilization within practice.

The Professional Speech and Slang of Musicians

The analysis of musicians{\crq} professional speech is the subject of this thesis. The main stress is put to the profiling of various ways the professional speech vocabulary is being enriched: by taking over expressions from foreign languages, semantic forming of lexical units (metaphor, metonymy) and creation of new words. Therefore, the attention is also focused on the word-building structure of the lexical units. Also, the presence or absence of the expressive token is being observed. The goal of the work is to draw attention to the vocabulary of musicians{\crq} professional speech from the linguistical point of view. The explanatory directory of terms used by musicians during excercise of their profession is the integral part of the work. For easier orientation, the index is also included.

Preparing and administering medicaments by hand or by an instrument

I found out in this thesis the way nurses handle medicaments. What preparing and administering medicaments is like, and whether they prefer their own hands or an instrument in their work. This subject started to attract me for the reasons of an untraditional view of nurses{\crq} everyday work because they get in contact with preparing and administering medicaments several times a day. It was also interesting to compare the theoretical part with the practical aspects of the matter. In the theoretical part I outlined the entire knowledge nurses are to have not to endanger themselves or the patients in the course of handling medicaments. Nurses have to know the terminology related to medicaments, further what forms of medicaments there are, what effects may be expected, they are also supposed to know the manner of the application of medicaments, the manner of preparing and administering medicaments, what mistakes nurses may meet with when working with medicaments and what roles nurses have when administering medicaments. I am focusing especially on administering medicaments orally. The objectives of my thesis was to survey in what way nurses conduct hand hygiene before preparing and administering medicaments, whether they use aids intended for handling medicaments, in what way medicaments are prepared and administered to patients. To obtain results, I used the qualitative research. In total, 2 techniques were used. The first technique was hidden observation based on an observation list prepared beforehand, with activities connected with the subject in question. This observation was completed with a second technique {--} a structured conversation with open questions. Both the observation and the structured conversation were conducted in the intern section of the České Budějovice Hospital, a.s. The results may be given to the management of the hospital in which the research was conducted. They may also serve as a basis for a new standardisation of the subject in question.

Efficient use of Rational Team Concert for software development

This bachelor thesis is devoted to software tool Rational Team Concert (RTC) which is destined for project teamwork support. The main goal of the thesis is to identify and describe the most important use cases of the tool. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, the tool itself is described; his features, functionality and contribution; also installation and configuration of the tool that were need for purpose of this thesis and building up scenarios. In the second part, use cases scenarios are described within the scope of the web client RTC and development tool Eclipse. I divided the use cases scenarios according to participants - into administrator's scenarios and into ordinary user's scenarios who is created by administrator and his rights are limited. For better clarity, each participant has an enclosed diagram of scenarios sequence which represents their activities within the scope of described RTC clients. Each step in the scenario is represented in charts and often accompanied by images (screenshots) in a way to ensure clarity and clearness.
