The objective of this thesis is to evaluate Russia's integration policy towards Muslim minority. The thesis presents the basic aspects of Russian integration policy to the readers and analyzes the main problems related to the coexistence of the Russian society and Muslim community. The main problems, which are discussed, are religious legislation, the involvement of Muslims in politics, the issue of education, building mosques. Modern Sacral Architecture.
PODROUŽKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis deals with European sacral architecture of the twentieth and the twenty-first century. Particularly, it refers to Judaic, Roman-Catholic and Islamic buildings. The second part puts into historical context the sacral constructions of individual religions including their function, characters and typology. In the third part of this thesis the representative sample of significant modern sacral constructions is selected, always under circumstances regarding their creation, the urban description and the setting in a specific location as well as the architectural layout, the interior arrangment and a possible use of special technological procedures at their construction. The mutual comparison and the evaluation of the modern European sacral architecture development are carried out in the fourth part. This section notices the function and the usage of light and presents some extraordinary buildings from this point of view. The final fifth part tries to answer the question, how a modern temple should look like.
Danish attitude to immigration and its impact on foreign policy
Novotná, Markéta ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Krines, Vlastimil (referee)
The freedom of movement is a human right concept that has always been confronted with some form of state regulation. I will focus on the international dimension of migration, especially immigration, which will be analyzed first on a general level and then on the example of Denmark. As this small European state is a typical activist in the field of human rights and a frequent participant in the humanitarian missions, one would say the Danish immigration policy can serve as an ideal example. However, this may not be true. My aim is to analyze the membership of Denmark in various international organizations dealing with immigration, EU in particular. Then, the relationship between the immigrants and Danish foreign policy with focus on Muslims will be considered. My research shows that the tendency of Denmark to restrict her immigration policy is a result of global development and has deep historical roots.

Werner, Jan ; Druláková, Radka (advisor) ; Havlová, Radka (referee)
Conflicts between majority societies and culturally different immigrants represent one of the key problems that today's Europe has to face. This bachelor thesis tries to analyze the subject from the societal security viewpoint in the context of the big Western European countries -- United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain and Germany. The last chapter is then devoted to a comparison of the societal security patterns in Western Europe; also, the main short- and long-term prognoses of the Muslim and Asian immigrations' impacts on societal security are presented and the basic starting points for a more effective integration process are defined.

Assimilation of mulsims in the Netherlands
Adamcová, Jana ; Novotná, Yvona (advisor) ; Druláková, Radka (referee)
The Netherlands is a country well known for it's deep tradition of toleration, freedom of speech and safety. It has provided a shelter to many oppressed people already since 16. century. Only the german occupation could stop this tradition for a while. This tradition, however, seems to be turning against the whole country. The Netherlands is now officially acknowledged to be an immigrant country and represents a popular destination of immigration for many different people from many different places. To prevent the inevitable impacts that mass immigration has on a society, the dutch government has been trying to develop the most efficient immigration and integration policy already since 1970s. The dutch integration policy changed throughout the past decades a lot. In 1980s and 1990s the main course of the integration policy was represented by the theory of multiculturalism which turned into individual integration in the begining of new millenium. This thesis analyses and evaluates the individual integration policy and it's effect on integration of muslims into the dutch society, as the muslims are considered to be the most problematic group of immigrants in the country.

Head scarf law as an example of solving the multiculturalism in France
Suchá, Martina ; Soběhart, Radek (advisor) ; Stellner, František (referee)
My Bachelor's work" Head scarf law as an example of solving the multiculturalism in France" dwells on the current integrative and immigratory policy of one of the most numerous religious minorities -- the Muslims. The demographic emergence is briefly defined and a key French vocable Laicité is interpreted in the text below too. The merits of my work are in a detailed analysis of the Islamic head scarf problem and its wearing related multicultural conflicts. Such French major concerns led to a legislative adjustment of Laicism Act in 2004. President Sarkozy's opinion on the above mentioned Act and a brief view of Islamic chapels' fabrication problems are parts of my work as well.
Integrace muslimských přistěhovalců do západoevropské společnosti - vybrané státy
Imigrační a integrační politika Francouzské republiky
Mapuje výkyvy v přistěhovalecké politice zapříčiněné vnějšími okolnostmi a tradičně odlišným postojem politické levice a pravice k dané otázce. Dále uvádí, jak způsob vzniku a sebepojetí francouzského národa determinovaly asimilacionistický integrační model, který ovšem, jak se dnes ukazuje, selhává v případě integrace početné muslimské komunity a potomků afrických přistěhovalců.
