Framework for interactive web textbooks of music theory
Neděla, Jakub ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (advisor)
Musical notation plays a crucial role in accessing and interpreting musical content while also serving as a means of communication between musicians and performers. This work explores existing frameworks for displaying musical scores and playing sounds on web pages. The aim of the project is to design and implement a solution enabling the display and playback of musical scores. To achieve this goal, various library options are examined. For the implementation of the program for web pages, the VexFlow and Tone.js frameworks have been selected. The result of the work is a proprietary software tool that allows the display and playback of musical scores on web pages with the aim of promoting a better understanding of musical notation.
Mobile Application for Management of Music Band Production
Dolinský, Miloš ; Rudnitckaia, Julia (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes entire process of develeopment of application MyBandSong that serves to manage creations of a musical band. A part of application is also a simple editor for writing music in the form of a tablature. Individual phases of development are described - from the requirements specification to design of a user interface, its implementation and final testing. Application is implemented in Java language for Android operating system. With MyBandSong bands can easily manage their songs and concert from one place, which can save time on rehearsals or before concerts.
Web Editor of MusicXML Files
Řešení umožňuje uživateli nahrát/vytvořit a upravovat notový zápis pomocí počítačové myši a výsledek posléze uložit do souboru.

Statistical Natural Language Processing Methods in Music Notation Analysis
Libovický, Jindřich ; Peterek, Nino (advisor) ; Mareček, David (referee)
The thesis summarizes the research in application of statistical methods of computational linguistics in music processing and explains theoretical background of these applications. In the second part methods of symbolic melody extraction are explored. A corpus of approxi- mately 400 hours of melodies of different music styles was created. A melody model using the language modeling techniques was trained on this corpus. In the third part of the thesis the model is used for an attempt to develop an alternative method of audio melody extraction which uses the melody model instead of commonly used heuristics and rules. The chosen ap- proach works well only on simple input data and produces worse results than the commonly used methods on the MIREX contest data. On the other hand, the experiments help to understand the conceptual between the pitch frequency development - the physical melody - and the melody perceived on an abstract level in the symbolic notation - the symbolic melody. 1
