Monitoring of the earth-fill dam of the Karolinka waterworks
Svoboda, Vojtěch ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis is focused on selected parameters monitoring of the earth dam of hydraulic structure Karolinka. The first outflow areas on the Karolinka dam air face were already observed and the seepages were measured after the first filling. As a result, in addition to standard monitoring, monitoring of the dam by electrical impedance spectrometry was started in 2011. During the reconstruction of the dam in 2013 was realized the construction of the sealing wall for minimalized of seepages. The selected data were compared before and after reconstruction of the hydraulic structure Karolinka. The bachelor‘s thesis was realized within the sustainability of the international project E!7614 of EUREKA program.

Hála, Tomáš ; Pavelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Tichý, Vladimír (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with solution of an exact Smart metering problem. The goal of this thesis is to offer an electrical energy measurement innovation that deals with widespread waterworks objects maintained by Vodárenská a.s. Brno-venkov division. The paper contains an analysis of the current state of reading of electricity meters and the outlook on optimization. The paper also focuses on solving the smart metering problem and contains a description of individual layers of remote reading of electricity meters. The 2nd half of the paper focuses on the specific devices selection and design of data reading topology. An Economical analysis compares costs of project realization with possible savings with the help of chosen methods of financial analysis evaluates the economic effectiveness of an investment.

Data Profiling Using IPFIX Mediator
Kozubík, Michal ; Bartoš, Václav (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the network data profiling using IPFIX mediator. The main task is effective data filtering and configurable profiles management. The profiles management is still not available for IPFIX mediator, which makes analysis of network traffic for users more difficult. Therefore this thesis deals with the design and implementation of configurable profiles management as a plug-in for IPFIX mediator. The plug-in uses profiles hierarchy with filtering rules for data sorting.
Data acquisition from a great number of computers using hierarchical summarization
Jelínek, Mojmír ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This paper deals with IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) transmission of feedback and is showing options and ways of construction, problems and optimalization of signalization protocol. In the beginning are described IPTV and technology terms that this technology uses. Here can be found information about classical TV (Television) transmitting and comparing with IPTV technology, the advantages and disadvantaged of IPTV and answers why this solution has future. Next parts are about history of IPTV and real use over ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) in present. Here are explained all the necessary units like Head-End, feedback target, root feedback target, ADSL, DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) and methods of data stream transmission. Also here are described the techniques of video stream compression (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4) and all options of data transmission as broadcast, unicast and multicast. Important part is about transmission speed and needs. The realization also contains applications, written in the C++ language, for transmitting and receiving packets by UDP (User Datagram Protocol) protocol. The task of these applications is to load the main server, where the measurement of packet loss and CPU (Central Processing Unit) load takes place. The result is a table of measured values for specified packet sizes and for specified time intervals between them. The meaning of this measuring is to find the maximal number of computer nodes, which the feedback target is able to proceed. Last part is about realization of 2 applications in JAVA language, which get the information about end-nodes. Both algorithms are using 2 threads to increase speed of getting the information. The client has few random generators within one thread, which will be later replaced by special algorithms for getting real values.
Determination of anomalous area of homogeneous earth dike of small reservoir
Sedláková, Alena ; Maleňák,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of changes occurring in the earth dike of small water reservoirs Bezedník III. in the village Kobeřice and the definition of anomalous areas identified by the indirect method of measuring electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS). The study conducted on the basis of data processing from monitoring, which is carried out once a month. The thesis follows the solution of projects E!3838, E!4981 and E!7614 in international EUREKA program.
Analysis of Speech Signals for the Purpose of Neurological Disorders IT Diagnosis
Mekyska, Jiří ; Dostál, Otto (referee) ; Přibilová, Anna (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with a design of hypokinetic dysarthria analysis system. Hypokinetic dysarthria is a speech motor dysfunction that is present in approx. 90 % of patients with Parkinson’s disease. The work is mainly focused on parameterization techniques that can be used to diagnose or monitor this disease as well as estimate its progress. Next, features that significantly correlate with subjective tests are found. These features can be used to estimate scores of different scales like Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) or Mini–Mental State Examination (MMSE). A protocol of dysarthric speech acquisition is introduced in this work too. In combination with acoustic analysis it can be used to estimate a grade of hypokinetic dysarthria in fields of faciokinesis, phonorespiration and phonetics (correlation with 3F test). Regarding the parameterization, features based on modulation spectrum, inferior colliculus coefficients, bicepstrum, approximate and sample entropy, empirical mode decomposition and singular points are originally introduced in this work. All the designed techniques are integrated into the system concept in way that it can be implemented in a hospital and used for a research on Parkinson’s disease or its evaluation.
Monitoring of Interest in Physical Activity among 2nd Grade Pupils in Svratka Region
Pechová, Helena ; Novák, Jan (referee) ; Blahutková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis based on „Monitoring of Interest in Physical Activity among 2nd Grade Pupils in Svratka Region“ contains in the theoretical part explanation of the terms of monitoring, physical activity and pedometer and describes in detail analysed location of Svratecko. The research includes 20 schoolchildren from Svratka and Herálec, each of them received a pedometer for a week for evaluating their physical activity. To ensure the sufficient amount of data on physical activity pupils were also used short anonymous questionnaires. The final output of this work consists of the evaluation of the respondents' physical activity and recommendations for improvement or expansion of physical education in elementary school or proposal of sports clubs with physical activities that aren’t in the vicinity. One of the secondary outputs of the work is also the survey of lifestyle diseases in the selected assemblage of pupils.
