Searching for Objects in Pictures
Motlík, Matúš ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with solving the problem of searching simple objects in pictures. The aim was to create a program that will be able to search simple objects in grayscale images. In this theses are described progressively steps of image processing. There are described preprocessing of image, segmentation, description of segmented data, classification and searching for objects in image.
Recognition of Objects in Pictures
Nedoma, David ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is about solving a problem of recognition of objects in pictures. The aim was to create a program that will be able to recognize objects in an image. Describes progressively step by step processing of image data. Shortly describes preprocessing of image, after that describes in detail segmentation, description of segmented data and classification of objects. Describes algorithms and methods that are applicable for each step.
Design of a New Method for Stereovision
Kopečný, Josef ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis covers with the problems of photogrammetry. It describes the instruments, theoretical background and procedures of acquiring, preprocessing, segmentation of input images and of the depth map calculating. The main content of this thesis is the description of the new method of stereovision. Its algorithm, implementation and evaluation of experiments. The covered method belongs to correlation based methods. The main emphasis lies in the segmentation, which supports the depth map calculation.
Noise generator
Pospíšil, Miroslav ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of bachelor’s thesis „Noise generator“ is circuit design and construction of noise generator. The first part is concentrated on description of random signals. There are circuits of noise generators in the second part. In the third part is example of utilization noise generator in microwave sensors. And in fourth part are designed circuit and made measurements.
Use of sport contexts in statistical problems for upper secondary schools
Koštejnová, Kateřina ; Novotná, Jarmila (advisor) ; Jančařík, Antonín (referee)
This thesis explores the use of sports-related themes in secondary school level sta- tistical problems and exercises. It summarizes basic statistical terminology appropriate for various education levels. The core then consists of a set of original statistical sports- themed problems and their solutions. These problems are split into three chapters based on the theoretical foundation they require. The first chapter deals with location parame- ters as well as reading from graphs and their construction, and it utilizes tables in the problems' formulation. The next chapter then focuses on the properties of dispersion, and the last one introduces correlation. The problems presented in the first chapter make use of football themes, the ones from the second chapter are ice-hockey based, and lastly, the problems from the third chapter mix themes from various sports. Each presented exercise is preceded with a list of definition necessary for finding the solution. The thesis also includes questions, whose solutions require university level Mathematics. These are augmented with the necessary theoretical foundation as well but it assumes knowledge of integral calculus. This problem collection may be used by secondary school Mathematics educators. The last section demonstrates use of statistics, particularly hypothesis...
Introduction to Order Statistics Theory
Hanuš, Antonín ; Kulich, Michal (advisor) ; Klebanov, Lev (referee)
This thesis deals with the theory of order statistics. Its aim is to summarize the basic knowledge concerning the distribution of the order statistics of random variables that are absolutely continuous with respect to the Lebesgue Measure and afterwards use those order statistics for some specific distributions. The first chapter describes the derivation of the density and distribution function of order statistics in several ways as well as dealing with some functions of order statistics and their conditional distribution. The second chapter is devoted to the moments of order statistics and formulae for their calculation and to the relations between them. In the conclusion the previous theoretical findings are applied to the uniform, exponential and normal distributions. 1
Models of integer-valued time series
Vagaský, Ján ; Prášková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Jonáš, Petr (referee)
In this thesis models of integer-valued time series based on random sums of random variables are studied. We describe basic properties of a simple branching process, an INAR(1) process and a first- order binomial autoregresive process. We prove the Markov property of each of these processes and study conditions required for the processes to be weak-stationary. Using generating functions of random variables we derive moments and cumulants up to the fourth order for INAR(1) process and binomial AR(1) process. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
