New challenges for the newsvendor problem

This bachelor thesis focuses on the newsvendor problem with marketing. The first part deals with basic newsvendor problem and various modifications of the basic problem are discussed. In the following part the basic problem is modified by adding marketing and then the process of finding the optimal solution for an additive and mupliplicative form of demand is demonstrated. In this part the result for chosen model of additive case of demand is also presented. Real life applications of the newsvendor problem with marketing are then described at the end of the thesis. For some of these applications the impacts of marketing on real life markets are demonstrated.

Design of Innovation Organizations Selected Sporting Events

The BA thesis focuses on a proposal for innovation of organization of a basket-ball tournament. The thesis consists of a theoretical and analytical part and the proposal proper. A survey was employed in order to investigate the relevant status of basketball-related activities in Slovakia. The thesis includes a detailed financial, marketing and management plan for the sporting event in question.

The bachelor's thesis deals with communication mix in Berentzen Distillers CR, spol. s r. o.. This company is known especially for its drink production, but it does road haulage too. A part of this work explains the basic concepts and describes the company as it is. Another part constains of suggestion to improve existing communication mix. It should have better effect on its customers.

Business Plan - Construction Operations Building

The diploma thesis focuses on the creation of a business plan in the field of construction of an operational building, which is used for renting free space, for storage and for setting up a locksmith and metalworking workshop. The thesis contains a theoretical description of the business plan and the necessary analyzes. The practical part focuses on the business plan itself consisting of the construction of a new building and the transfer of existing locksmiths' production into their own business premises and the extension of the offered services of metalworking. In conclusion, the business plan is assessed, considering its feasibility under realistic conditions and determining the point of reversal in the implementation of the business plan.
