Implementation of CRM information system in a service oriented small and middle enterprise company

Diploma thesis reviews a topic of Customer Relationship Management information system implementation from a managerial point of view. Theoretical part describes strategies for a Customer Relationship Management in a field of a small and middle enterprise business. It contains a description of technological options and a market situation in information systems business. Author describes a topic of information systems and their value added and is focused on a process of implementing the Customer Relationship Management information system. In a practical part there is a specific implementation project being analyzed. The analysis is based on the feedback of customers of a company and users of a new system. This part describes a specific implementation project, highlights possible failures and finds possible options to avoid them.
The development and position of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic

Small and medium-sized enterprises are gaining more attention from the European Commission and the Government of Czech Republic. Not only because of the current economic crisis, which didn't spare these businesses, but mainly because they are the backbone of the European economy and provide with many jobs. This thesis deals with the development and position of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine their role in the Czech market from measures like a share of GDP and employment. This thesis also seeks to highlight some opportunities and threats for small and medium enterprises. The first theoretical part focuses on the defini-tion of such enterprises in the Czech Republic and the European Union and consequent-ly continues with the history of small and medium enterprises in the country. The practical part deals with data analysis from the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The results of this analysis are to be compared with selected Eu-ropean Union member states. In the conclusion I recommend some measures to improve the position of small and medium-sized enterprises on the Czech market.
Implementation of ITIL into Small and Medium Business

This work is initially focused on the general description of ITIL V3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and its five elementary books to enable the reader to become familiar with the essential terms and to get at least an overall view of this approach to the administration of IT services. The section Service Strategy is deeply analyzed on a theoretical level as well as in the practical part of the work. For the needs of this work, the term SMB -- Small and Medium Business is defined, in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission. For these businesses, the work describes the advantages and disadvantages related not only to their operation, but also to the implementation of ITIL. In the practical part of the work, an analysis of a current state of a sample small business is carried out in the field of service strategy, the result of which is the assessment of its state according to the ITIL principles, pointing out faulty processes or incorrectly defined services, and the decision whether the company would benefit from changing its service strategy.
Financial resources of small and medium enterprises

The graduation thesis is engaged in questions of small and medium enterprises (SME) and it tries to clarify financing possibilities of this segment. The introductory part attends to the definition of small and medium enterprises and the meaning of this segment, it illustrates the advantages and disadvantages and also position of this sector in the economy of the Czech Republic. The thesis proceeds with specification of various financial resources, there are mentioned own, external and alternative financial resources. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the impact of the financial and economic crisis on Czech small and medium enterprises. The practical part is concerned with a particular company. There is an analysis of financial management and financial resources and at the end of the practical part there are mentioned the impacts of the crisis on the contemporary operation of the company.
