Optimizing the selection of actuators for reconnaissance flying robot
Vítek, Milan ; Gábrlík, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Vlastimil (advisor)
Purpose of this semestral thesis is to create a set of recommendations for choosing optimal motors, propellers and batteries for multi rotor flying vehicles with respect to flight time and flight dynamics. In this thesis you can find analysis of motor, propeller and battery properties and characteristics and their dependencies. Based on these findings there is a set of rules to choose optimal components and set optimal working point. This thesis also describes the design and implementation of a device used to measure the main characteristics of motors and propellers.
Measurement and Modeling of Wireless Network Coverage
Julínek, Pavel ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Kaller, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes mobile communication systems GSM and UMTS including the operating principle of these systems. It also deals with the GPS issues and the determination of the location by this system. The signal path losses issues between the transmitter and receiver are also described. The focus is also put on Telit UC864-G model and the measurement system, operated by the created programme with the graphic user interface, which measures parameters of the cellular network according to entered input parameters and saves the measured values into the file. The part of the diploma thesis describes another created programme with the graphic user interface displaying the measured network parameters in map data with the possibility to compare the distribution of the measured signal value in both outdoor and indoor environment and the theoretical value set by the propagation models.
Performance Measurement of LoRa/LoRaWAN Communication
Lorenc, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This project focused on describe LoRa/LoRaWAN wireless communication that enables power-efficient wireless communication over very long distances. It describes also LoRaWAN infrastructure The Things Network for merging several LoRaWAN devices into one network. The practical part defined measuring equipment, chosen electric parts, and final realization. The main goal of this work is a performance and range measurement of LoRaWAN communication by change communication options. The experiment result is compared with theoretical results. It generates an interactive map of radio range from the experiment result.
Calculation and measurement of induction motor parameters
Nekovář, Martin ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The theme of this master´s thesis is calculation and measurement of the parameters of induction motor. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first and the second part describes the general construction and operating principle of asynchronous motors. The construction includes a description of each part of induction motor, which consists of stator and rotor. The thesis deals with three-phase symmetrical and asymmetric single-phase motors. Principle of operation with using the rotating magnetic field, which is circular at three-phase motors, single phase motors have field elliptical shape. The next part contains the motor replacement scheme. The fourth part contains the calculation of motor´s parameters through the formulas. In this part the procedures for obtaining parameters of the replacement scheme of induction motor are defined. The process of calculating the parameters of the motor replacement scheme of threephase asynchronous motor is created according to given documentation is the next part for the certain type. The next content of the thesis describe finite element method, simulation and measurement of asynchronous motors to get of parameters from no-load and short-circuit test. The comparison of the results from measurement, analytical calculation and from simulation is given in the last chapter.
