Vliv těžby stavebního kamene na krajinu Opatovic u Vyškova
Hermanová, Jana
Bachelor's thesis called Mining effect tectonic stone on landscape by Opatovice u Vyškova is dedicated to the issue of landscape recovery after surface mining of tectonic stone in Opatovice. The Thesis consists of general characteristics of the area, its natural conditions, recultivation development and the recultivation itself. The goal of the thesis was to analyze the changes in the landscape after mining and to evaluate the current recultivation plan. The Thesis also contains authors own recultivation plan.
Vývoj využívání krajiny na příkladu těžbou ovlivněné krajiny Hlinecka a Skutečska
Havlová, Monika
This bachelor thesis is about development of landuse using the example of landscape impacted by mining in Hlinecko and Skutečsko microregions. The aim of this study is to map the impact of surface mining on Hlinecko and Skutečsko microregions land development. Important study materials were documents provided by Museum of Skuteč and historical map materials processed in Geographic informational system. Results of thesis surprised me with how much was the landscape impacted by surface mining of granite and how abandoned and flooded mines contributed to increase of geotourism. It was interesting to see landscape changes in percentage and to find out that surface mines were the main reason of water areas increase.
Description of diving localities in Central Bohemian region.
Otto, Šimon ; Fiala, Miloš (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: Description of diving localities in Central Bohemian region. Objectives: The main objective of this work is description of dive localities in the Central Bohemian Region. The aim is to create I guide for divers, which would lightened choice of location for diving and prepare them for a dive. Another objective is analyzing and comparing dive location according to given criteria. Methods: Study the available current and historical resources. Direct survey sites. Results: We managed to create a guide to dive localities of the Central Bohemian Region. Keywords: Diving, description, quarry
Analysis of Natural and Geological Conditions of the Old Mineral Raw Material Mining Localities in Jindřichův Hradec Region
Hudler, Pavel ; Jetmar, Miroslav (advisor) ; Mirko, Mirko (referee)
The aim of this work was to document the mining areas in neighborhood Jindřichův Hradec and to describe their current geological and environmental conditions. Mined or partially mined quarries and sandpits were examined. On the territory of Jindřichův Hradec region to the greatest extent there are sandpits, but also the quarries were processed, which are found mainly on the east side of the area. The localities have been solved from the point of view of geology, soil science, hydrology, zoological and botanical natural conditions, current land use, mining history, anthropogenic load and the presence of erosion. The detailed photographic documentation was performed at all locations and the maps in ArcGIS 10 were created. Between the damaged sites were included a quarry U Koleneců, quarry Skladka, sand-quarry Klenov. At these locations accumulation of municipal or building litter occurs. Therefore, these sites have been proposed to rehabilitate and revitalize. Conversely, we can also find sites that add value to the surrounding landscape. These are the sites U Dračice, Na cvičišti, Cep, Cep I and Cep II. We have also locations that are very promising. It is the locality Jarošov nad Nežárkou, Jindřiš, Dunajovická hora. At these locations it has been designed and recommended appropriate management.
Effects of Defects on Composite Structures Load Carrying Capacity: Delaminations at a Bi-Material Interface
Wine Farmstead in Jaroslavice
Vala, Jiří ; Stříteský, Pavel (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Key strategy of the project works with hidden potential of the former loess quarry and its terrain modification. Finding the closure between the winery and the landscape. To merge, to reach the symbiosis. They winemaking area is situated in the heart of the slope, to keep the wine in stable environment and creating the retaining wall at the same time. Concept is build on a traditional principles of agricultural yard and connection of partial functions through it.
Wine Farmstead in Jaroslavice
Novotník, Adam ; Kolcunová, Pavlína (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is dealing with design of a winery at a site of former brickyard and quarry. Area of the quarry is pulled out of landscape context. Place is radicaly formed by human activity. Unerasable trace of human work. On these facts I based concept of the winery. Pure essence of winery as a place for human work - place for wine production. The building is formed by linearly arrayed spaces roofed with concrete shell.
Basic Optical Elements 2D Raytracing
Danczi, Dávid ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Seeman, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes analysis, design and implementation of an application, which simulates the method of ray tracing through simple optical elements. Further it examines the issue of computer graphics and description of the Windows API programming interface.
Rendering of Terrain and Water Surface in a Computer Game
Kopecký, Marek ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with rendering of water and terrain, which is a key part of many computer games and simulations. The resulting application runs fluently and is powered by XNA Framework. Rendering of terrain includes multi-texturing and lighting. The water simulation includes reflection and refraction of ray on water surface. Foam is rendered on the bank of water. Water waves are computed using the inverse discrete Fourier transform.
Influence of geometry bending areas on the durability of tubular stabilizer bars
Kužela, Josef ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Diploma thesis discusses and summarizes the problematic how ovality effects durability of bended tubes. The work presents an approach to the solution, the experiments concerning change of ovality, changes in the thickness of the distorted cross-section. Final results represent connection between ovality and durability.
