Theme of this bachelor thesis is calculation and design of steel load bearing structure. The plan of the multipurpose hall is in rectangular shape with the width of 28m and length of 46m. The roof is in circular arch shape. Whole structure is designed from S355 steel. Structure is situated in Brno and is designed according the Eurocodes.
Multifuntional Sport Hall
Škatula, Václav ; Pilgr,, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis presents a project of a load bearing structure of a multifunction hall that has a rectangular ground plan and also deals with the assessment of the project. The object is situated in the urban area of Ostrava. The task provides two versions of design. The first version consists of ten traverse joining beams witch are distanced five meters from each other. The second version consists of six traverse joining beams witch are distanced nine meters from each other. The thesis focuses on the load pressure of the steel construction, the main emphasis being placed on the single structural components and assembling components. The calculation meet the standards of ČSN EN.
Museum
Orságová, Martina ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
Thesis contains variants of design and check of the steel structure of museum situated in Brno. The disposition of the building is three storey structure with a story height of 4meters. The building has a rectangular cross looking shape with dimensions 120x80meters. The height of the structure is 21m . Load bearing beams are 6m apart. The main load bearing structure is made of steel beams, truss beams, columns and stiffeners. Global stiffness is provided by concrete cores, composite slabs and stiffeners beams. The roof is designed as a green variant. The facade is made of glass and Corten sheets. Ceilings is designed as steel-concrete composite deck. The main construction material is Steel S235 and Steel S355. The concrete parts are designed from Concrete C25/30.
Hangar

The final thesis is focused on a project of a load bearing structure of a aircraft maintenance hangar that has a rectangular ground plan 60,0x120,0 m and includes suspended mobile hoist of loading capacity 5,0t. The object is situated in the airport area of Ostrava Mošnov. The task provides two versions of design. The first version consists of eleven traverse joining beams witch are distanced twelve meters from each other. The second version consists of thirteen traverse joining beams witch are distanced ten meters from each other. The thesis focuses on the load pressure of the steel construction, the main emphasis being placed on the single structural components and assembling components. The calculation meet the standards of ČSN EN.
Load-carrying structure of assembled family house
Návarová, Michaela ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the static design of load bearing structure of a flat-building. The flat-building is designed as a two-floors building with cock-loft. The ground plan of the house is 15,04 x 16,74 m, the height is 9,25 m. The house is considered as II. snow area and II. wind area. The load bearing structure is designed in two variations. In first variation is designed load baering structure of the house by steel thin-walled sections, in second variation is designed by timber sections. In both variations load bearing structures is made of columns, garlands, ceiling beams and roof truss.
Timber foot bridge over a wolf run
Mynaříková, Alice ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Straka, Bohumil (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the construction of a timber foot bridge over the wolf run in the Šumava National Park. The total length of the bridge is 240 m with two ground plan bends. The foot bridge includes three viewing decks, two of which are covered with shed roofs. The foot bridge is divided into 16 segments. Each segment is 15 m long with a width of 2.2 meters. The ground plan dimensions of the viewing decks are approximately 15x7 and 15x11 m. As the main structural material has been chosen glued laminated timber of the strength class GL28h, other elements are made of solid timber of the strength class C24. The thesis includes an introductory document, options analysis, technical report, static analysis, bill of material and drawings.
