Bachelor's thesis deals with the structural stress calculation and evalution of a load-bearing structure in the construction of a station platform roof. The building is situated in the city centre of Pardubice. Groundplan dimensions of the structure are 24 x 35 metres. The high of the structure is 8 metres. The load-bearing part solid pilar columns and trusses consist of a T-shaped lattice-work. Individual bars are formed by rectangular pipes and I profile. Load-bearing elements are made of steel class S355 J2.

The aim of of the Bachelor’s thesis is design and analysis of steel structure of roofing the railway platform in Brodek u Prerova. The roofing has trapezoidal shape and length is 54,0 m. Width is from 8,2 m in the narrowest part of the construction up to 10,2 m in the widest part. The height is 5,2 m in the highest point of the construction. Load-bearing structure is made of main frames, which are made of truss girder supported by the solid-web column. The construction material is steel S235J2.
