The master thesis deals with life values of ecologically living people. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In its theoretical part it focuses on terms used in ecology, lifestyle and the description of values linked to the protection of environment. It deals with the concept of sustainable development and describes ecological farming. The practical part of the thesis analyses the qualitative research which was done in the form of semi-structured interviews with ecological farmers. The thesis focuses on values, opinions and sentiments of ecological farmers and whether these have undergone any change during their farming. Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents

The thesis called "Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents" deals with comparison of changes through longitudinal study in chosen indicators of value orientation and actual life attitudes of adolescents, who are situated in educational institution and being at the same time students of high school preparing themselves for future career. The results are compared with the survey, which was carried out between the years 2009 - 2010. The arrangement of gained data has a character of comparative study, which evaluates an occurrence of certain aspects in respondents' hierarchy of values and maps their shift in a certain period of time. The theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and value orientation, their elements and formations; furthermore it structures a phenomenon of adolescence in general, which is compared in selected indicators with specifically selected groups, which are the subject of the survey. For a better insight into the problematic, the conclusion of the theoretical part specifies an environment of an institutional education and its basic characteristics. Spirituality and life attitudes of human during the pre finem period

The aim of the thesis is a close examination of spirituality and view of life among people who find themselves in the pre finem period. Spirituality is understood as a relation to sanctity of either religious or irreligious, intrinsic or extrinsic nature. Spirituality turns out to be of significance as a coping strategy, the means by which people come to terms with their illness and proximity to death. In this sense, we focus on the participants' search for the meaning of life, illness and death during the pre finem period. The basis of this thesis stems partly from the H. G. Koenig and K. L. Pargament's theory of religious coping. The belief in life after death, be it literal or symbolic, is understood as a coping strategy as well, with reference to Terror Management Theory or Meaning Management Theory. To evaluate the attitude towards illness and death we use the concept of five stages of grief developed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross based on her clinical experience, and the theory of Wong, Reker and Gesser, the authors of Death Attitude Profile Revised questionnaire (DAP-R).
