Sheets bonding and their testing
Straka, Jan ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design selected load tests for bonded joints at specified steel sheet DC01 under laboratory conditions and to compare the strength of the degreased joints with technical alcohol and uncrushed joints. The basic methods of joining thin sheets are presented in the thesis. The following is an overview of test methods for bonded sheets according to the relevant technical standards. The results of the selected tests are the specific numerical values that have been compared with those reported by the manufacturer of the particular adhesive.
Materials for Passenger Car Bodies
Vondrák, Zdeněk ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This work is devoted to description of modern personal car body construction, materials of car bodies, surface finishing and methods of body parts joining. The work presents a list of materials that are used during manufacture of individual parts of body. Further, the work is concerned with surface finishing methods, especially those focused on anti-corrosion protection. The final part deals with various options of joining, that we may encounter in the automobile industry.
Adhezive bonding in the car industry
Bláha, Aleš ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis examines bonded joints of car bodies, which are the most mechanically challenged for selection of suitable, modern adhesives for the construction of the car body. The first part focuses on the description of the bonding technology, including theoretical knowledge related to the use for bonding assemblies for bodywork. The specified structure and its solution is carried out in the way that were selected by three types of adhesives SIKA and mutual comparison of their properties. After that an experimental test is conducted at 18 samples per overhanging shear tensile strength and finally followed by the evaluation and selection of the most appropriate and optimal variant for various bonding applications.
A comparison of different types of epoxy adhesives
Mihulka, Jan ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a bonding technology. The first part describes the theory of the bonding and it is discussed the main areas of this technology. The experimental part deals with the comparison of four two-component epoxy adhesives in terms of shear strength. For the experiment it had been selected adhesives: Bison Epoxy Universal, Pattex Repair Epoxy Ultra Strong 5 min, Ergo 7430 and Letoxit LH 232. After performing the experiment, it was shown that Bison Epoxy Universal and Pattex Repair Epoxy Ultra Strong 5 min achieved the strengths stated in the datasheet. The strengths of Ergo 7430 and Letoxit LH 232 adhesives was lower than stated in their technological products, thefore, did not meet our expectations. The reason for not achieving the declared strength was probably poor dosing or insufficient mixing of ingredients.
Study of the unit load and formation equipment for a material handling
Kadlec, Tomáš ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The study is focused on handling and forming devices for material handling. The work includes the division and categorization of these devices, including an overview of the devices used in each category. It also deals with an overview of normative requirements with laws concerning storage and molding equipment. A tabular overview is created in the attachment. It is a study analysis that takes the form of an educational study background.
Increasing production effectiveness of wooden mounting part
Strnad, Jan ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the current production of semi-finished wood in a company TON a.s. These semi products are subsequently designed for assembly, painting, packaging and distribution. Bachelor thesis closer specializes in the production of slotting the mounting rail to the wooden part of the machine Zuckerman, then assembling and gluing to the assembly, which consists of two pieces of wood. These reports serve as sub-assemblies for assembly chair. Identification of deficiencies in the production of cutting grooves in wood parts and their assembly is the main task of work. Based on the knowledge base was developed techno-economic evaluation.
Accelerate handling strength in 2K PUR adhesives
Slatinská, Jana ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This paper is devoted to accelerating the time to obtain the handling strength of two-component polyurethane adhesive, which was newly purchased by the company Magna Exterios (Bohemia) and had to be tested. In order to speed up the analysis of the problem, methods of IR emitters and temperature chambers were selected to be compared with curing using only the ambient atmosphere. In the second part of this paper, the maximum strength of the bond which withstand the test without damage was measured. The results show that the method of accelerating curing process using an IR emitter is the fastest, but the economic side of things must be taken into account, because it is also the most expensive option of acceleration. The temperature chamber is almost twice as slower, but cheaper. At the end of the thesis, the economic efficiency of the new adhesive line solution is evaluated and how much money can be ideally saved.
The use superglue
Nádvorník, Jiří ; Slováček, Marek (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis aims to asses use of superglue on plastic materials. Glueing, or bonding, is a process occurring more and more in all parts of industry. With implementation of non metal materials, there is larger demand for studying properties of adhesives and glued joints. At first, technology of glueing and preparation of joints will be discussed. Further research of superglue and plastics will be done. In preparation for practical test, right kind of plastic and superglue will be chosen. Tests themselves will consist of making samples and destructive testing. The goal is to observe the influence of viscosity of glue and temperature during curing on strenght ot the joint.
Virtual launch of the robotic welding and gluing line using Tecnomatix - Process Simulate
Tomeček, Radim ; Juříček, Martin (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and creation of a virtual twin of a robotic cell intended to simulate and create a virtual launch of this cell. The goal was to design the layout of the robotic cell and subsequently create a full virtual run of an automated robotic workstation designed for spot welding, MIG welding and bonding processes. The initial research section deals with the individual technologies to be simulated. Subsequently, three designs for the layout of the robotic workstation are developed in this thesis. After evaluating and selecting the design, a virtual twin of the robotic cell is created using Process Simulate and then all the processes are simulated resulting in the virtual launch of the cell.
Precise bonding of composite materials
Tellinger, Adam ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of bonding composite materials. The first part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on research into the production of composite materials and gluing technologies. The content of the practical part is the design of test specimens and a preparation for their bonding with subsequent production. Furthermore, verification of compliance with the required accuracy of bonded joints when using different adhesives using 3D measurements.
