Title of the thesis: Provence mirrored in its legends Keywords: legend, myth, tradition, folklore, Provence, anthropology Abstract: The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the French region Alpes-Côte-d'Azur and its legends.The first part is focused on the region itself from several aspects. There is the geographical location, the climate and the typical products of the said region. Furthermore, a part of the thesis consists of the history of the region spreading from the antiquity until the middle ages. A very significant part is that of the language environment of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur. The legends, which are sorted into the historical development of the region, are then individually analyzed.
Cycling map of Croatian Island Rab

Biking and hiking map of Croatian island Rab Abstract The objective of this work is to create biking and hiking map of Croatian island Rab in a scale 1 : 50 000. The primary requirement is, that map should be created from a geodatabase in a reference scale 1 : 10 000. In the theoretical part there are evaluated existing biking and hiking map in a scale 1 : 50 000 and then cartographic products which include area of island Rab. This evaluation has analysed lacks, which should be eliminated during the creation of new map. Then, in a work there is a description of chosen area, the selection of a software and based data. The practical part is focused on a procedure of creating map, from the choice of a map projection and content, through the preparation of data, creating of map key and legend, to the preparation a map for a print. The attachment of this work is new map of island Rab with a legend in three language. Verbal Expressions of Reverence for St. John of Nepomuk in Vilém Bitnar's Saint-John- Questionnaire The goal of this thesis is a description of verbal expressions of reverence (legends, songs, prayers etc.) for St. John of Nepomuk in the Czech lands, which were collected by Výbor svatojanský in the questionnaire edited by Vilém Bitnar. This questionnaire was sent out to Czech and Moravian parishes at the occasion of the 200th anniversary of canonization of St. John of Nepomuk in 1929 and now it is deposited in the Literary Archive of the Museum of Czech Literature in Bitnar's estate. The mutual points in the questionnaire are seeked as well as regional specifics. These are situated into context of trends in religious life in the Czech lands in 1920s in general and also of relationship between contemporary Czech society and the Roman Catholic Church with reverence for St. John of Nepomuk. Bitnar's questionnaire is also situated into context of other Bitnar's scientific and publication activities. Joan of Arc, birth of a myth and the Johannine revival

The subject of this diploma thesis is the French national heroine Joan of Arc and her portrayal and reflection in literary works throughout the centuries. The diploma thesis mentions the historical personality of Joan of Arc in the context of the time she lived in, reconstructs the life of this French saint and deals with the rehabilitation process that completes the myth of the French national heroine. This diploma thesis summarizes the important European literary works that Joan of Arc is the most important theme. The diploma thesis deals more with literary works in which Joan of Arc is the main character but each author writes her story and describes her personality from a different point of view. And precisely these differences of the thesis are analyzed. The diploma thesis focuses more on the literary works of various authors such as Voltaire, Jules Michelet, Anatole France and Stéphen Coubé. The diploma thesis deals also with the portrayal of Joan of Arc in the 20th and 21st centuries.
A tale in the preschool education

This bachelor thesis specializes in the stories, in the forms of these stories and their influence of the child in preschool age. The main focus is about work with story during pedagogical operation in the nursery school. The aim of my bachelor thesis is prepared integrated unit which is bassed on czech national fairytale named "Hrnečku, vař!" by Karel Jaromír Erben. The main way in this fairytale is used narration. The part of narration are movement and art activities divided into weekly thematic unit.

The abstract The main aim of the thesis is preparation of the edition of an educational text by Simon Lomnický from Budeč. My work includes the correction of grammar, syntactic and ortographic errors, some of them need special decision, which has no influence on the uniqueness of the middle czech language. I have also analysed main themes and motives, which were similar to the themes of an another same genre books. The end of the life of Simon Lomnicky wasn't very happy and there were a lot of bad legends about his political behavior and his death during 19 th century,, which was destroyed on the beggening of the 20th century. I was also trying to find the origin of these rumors and make decision of its.
St Sigismund - Bohemian Patron in Medieval Culture

This bachelor thesis deals with the life of Saint Sigismund and his cult in the context of the middle ages culture. Focus will be laid on the legend about the king of Burgundy, St Sigismund, whom Charles IV elevated to the rank of the Bohemian Patrons. His cult will be analyzed in medieval Bohemia and partly in other countries in medieval Europe. Through the interpretation of selected examples of works of art from the medieval period, we will demonstrate St Sigismund's importance and position among the others Saints of Bohemia.

The abstract The main aim of the thesis is preparation of the edition of an educational text by Simon Lomnicky from Budeč. My work is aimed on the adaptation and analyse of a moralizing text by Lomnicky. I have analysed his book, Instruction or The short eduction for young hundsman, her evolution during three centuries, differences among editions from 16th, 18th and 19th century and her dependence on source book, The sentences and educations of the great philosophes. The reflection of Lomnicky's life has been changing very fast and dramatically, I have tried to find out reasons of peremptory changes.
