Preschool Children Drawings (developmental aspect of overlap in primary school)

The thesis deals with the developmental period of preschool-aged and early school- aged children and their drawing of a figure. The theoretical part describes the children's development at this time and also their developmental oddities and determinants that influence the development. It follows up the children's drawing, its developmental stages and especially the drawing of a human figure. The practical part focuses on the drawing of a human figure created by children in kindergartens and elementary schools. It's divided into two stages. At the first stage there is the drawing evaluated according to the Draw-a-person Test written in 1982 by J. Šturm and M. Vágnerová. The discovered values are interpreted from the qualitative and quantitative point of view. The attention is paid to remarkable events at the second stage. The practical part validates or disproves given hypotheses. The whole dissertation, its contribution to research and use for pedagogical workers are summarized in the conclusion. Psychomotor games as way of development for graphomotor skills by preschool children

Title: Psychomotor games as a mean of graphomotorics development in preschool children Objectives: The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the level of graphomotor skills in kindergarten for preschool children and also evaluate the effect of psychomotor exercises and games on preschool children. . Methods: This is a quasi-experiment, which works with a targeted selection of a group of probands,children from a specific kindergarten. Twelve children were selected and dividend into research and kontrol group. Both groups included six probands, four boys and two girls.The level of graphomotor skills was tested by using the figure drawing test and tests from the MABC-2 battery. At the same time, it is a qualitative research, where the quality of execution of individual tasks and the hygiene of writing is monitored on the basis of non-standardized observation. Results: The results of the final testing showed an improvement in the control group of children in whom no psychomotor games were applied. Both groups had better final results in figure drawing test and in fine motor skills tests from the MABC- 2 battery. Particularities and progression of the Fine Arts Expression of Visually Impaired Children in a Kindergarten

This bachelor's thesis is focused on children's art expression and its development amongst children with visual impairment. The theoretical part of this work is pointed to the detail characterization of children's drawing and describes in detail the key problems of visual impairment focusing on pre-school children. The author observes five children with different types of visual impairment in practical part of this paper and traces individual signs evolving in these children's drawing.

The figure drawing and people with Alzheimer's disease

The bachelor thesis deals with the typical characters of a figure drawing of people with Alzheimer's disease. The theoretical part deals with the aging in general, and with the changes that occur in older age. Furthermore, the work deals with dementia as one of the most common roots of Alzheimer's disease, which is described and studied in greater detail. The work describes its general characteristics, causes, occurrence and with the changes in the brain caused by the disease. Moreover, it also defines the stages and the main characters of the illness. The work looks briefly at the drawing and its development, a figure drawing and colours in drawing. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the analysis of the signs in 26 drawings drawn by seniors with Alzheimer's disease and compares them with the drawings created by non-diagnosed persons over 65. These characters are also divided into the groups according to the Mini-Mental State Examination test. The drawings created by the informants are attached to the study

This thesis focuses on the comparison of two different primary school classes, one third grade and one fifth grade, in the area of self-expression through drawing. The theoretical part considers children of younger school age at different stages, followed by further general information about artistic expression and developmental stages of drawing human figures. The practical part of the thesis shows the results of drawing figures, a comparison of human figures, and the standard of drawing such figures in third and fifth grade classes. The theoretical part provides general information on the development of younger school age. It focuses on the development of drawing display in connection with the development of intellectual assumptions. The practical section provides the results of research of children's drawings which are assessed in relation to the developmental level of children.

This bachelor thesis is focused on preschool child conception of human figure. The theoretical part is about art imaging of preschool children. It also deals with its relationship with the development of cognition, perception, graphomotor skills and changes in art imaging development during preschool period. The practical part is based on the assumption that there is a development of preschool children´s drawing of a human figure in a long-term period. The research part of this bachelor thesis is focused on finding typical features of human figure conception that was made by preschool children. This thesis also describes using of newly added features in drawing of a human figure.
